Required Experience For 80 Level.

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello guys. I was trying to change XP_Rate from 79 to 80 level (a bit harder) but all the codes I tried just change the amount of XP_Reward, based on the attacker (Same as VIP system, if the last attacked is VIP, exp goes to 2). So I got a new idea how to make this work. Now I want to change the required experience for 80 level. For example:

Required experience:

Lvl	Exp total	Exp before level
79      1 902 355 477   300 024 458
80	2 288 742 870	386 387 393

I doubled the experience in  model/base/experience :

		429632402L, // level 70
		474205751L,
		532692055L,
		606319094L,
		696376867L,
		804219972L,
		931275828L,
		1151275834L,
		1511275834L,
		2099275834L,
		12600000000L, // level 80
		18899984997L

but now it goes to 400% at 79 level

I believe it goes to 400% because you haven't edited client side.
You could try something like that:

					// Calculate the difference of level between this attacker and the L2Attackable.
					final int levelDiff = attacker.getLevel() - getLevel();

					final int[] expSp = calculateExpAndSp(levelDiff, damage, totalDamage);
					long exp = expSp[0];
					int sp = expSp[1];
+					if(attacker.getLevel() == 79)
+						exp /= 4;
					if (isChampion())
					{
						exp *= Config.CHAMPION_REWARDS;
						sp *= Config.CHAMPION_REWARDS;
					}

					exp *= 1 - penalty;

L2Attackable.java line ~595,aCis.

There must be something like that, but I cant try it now. I have to change the experience that players earn and not the experience that monsters gives.

The experience that players earn is the experience that monsters gives, actually.. :D

So how 2 players in a party can get different exp points ? If plater A is 77 and player B is 79 ?

Check the level difference and decrease the xp. Just track the party / leveling system to find out which part has to be changed.

The max values are linked to client side, if you edit values you have to edit client side.

If the point is to x2 overall values, wouldn't it be simplier to /2 incoming xp ? About level difference there's already a config, re-use it to your own cases.

    • Hi all, I am looking for very experienced L2J developer to join and help with my Lineage 2 Interlude project (server launching soon). What I need: Build and manage shop system (manager shops) Buffer service, GM shop, custom services Good understanding of server-side (L2J) and also client-side edits Clean, stable and professional work (no random fixes) Important: Must have real experience with L2J / Interlude Must understand how to properly structure systems, not just copy-paste This is paid work, I respect your time and effort. If you are serious and experienced, contact me on Discord: doncarlo Thanks.
    • Hey, I went through your NimeraCP and honestly, it looks really solid. Instantly bought for my server! Compared to most L2 panels, this is on a completely different level — the UI is clean, modern, and doesn’t feel like some 15-year-old system. I really like how everything is in one place — shop, referrals, rewards, roll & lucky wheel. The automation and real-time features (If you ask Splicho nicely, hahaha) are a big win too, since most panels are missing that. Overall though, great job. It feels like a next-gen panel, not just another copy. Definitely has the potential to be one of the top solutions in the L2 scene.
