I'm here to post the icon parser for interlude.

In the second image, you can see what appear in case of non existent items on database.

I had coded one with XMLs, unfortunatelly tryskel didnt commited for some reason

If you do not have the knowledge to do it for 10,000 items, it does not mean that all the other idiots.

 

Only idiots use the database and individual xml files for static data. Therefore Tryskell ignores your idiotic ideas.

hahahah u suck badly man, the static XML im talking about loads 10k icons in 10 miliseconds, in a hashmap providing great speeds. Possibly faster than Item.getItem().getIcon() 

 

But your russian, the arrow shoots you, nothing to discuss with such a garbage, uneducated russian beast like you.

 

 

Additionally, individual XML file gives you the opportunity not to load the icons by option if you don't need them. But Im pretty sure your slow russian head didn't had enough power to process this two simple things

How it will slow your server? It uses just a connection and then it loads them in a map and I think loading these strings is fast.

Don't pay attention to what randoms say. That database connection is not bad or slow, but not efficient since you can load it in XMLs.

 

the guy who coded that code, used my IconsTable as base, my IconsTable was working only for aCis meaning that it wouldn't work for Frozen without the correct libs. So instead of creating the XML parser like aCis has, he just went through the fast way, aka db connection

Really? The last sources of L2J uses the icons in the items descriptions. They also idiots that use it?

 

Maybe only the author of this topic is idiot who tries to reinvent the wheel?

Whats the difference between icons.xml and icons embedded into items.xml. None, so you make no sense at all.

Not necessarily specify the icon for each item.

        _icon = set.getString("icon", "icon.noimage");

If you have not added to the description of an item icon name, the default value is used "icon.noimage".

 

As a result, use of icons in the properties of scripts much easier.

Therefore, any other choices are an invention of the bicycle.

What's stopping you create it? Knowledge?

 

In any case, it is much easier to do than to create a separate instance for some icons. Learn Java and structure of the server order to not to write nonsense in the future.
