Also you can tell by the delay between actions, for example on l2off the tutorial thing when you first login starts faster than in l2j.

 

Or another thing. When you die on l2off and you press to village your character stands up before you go to the nearest village. In l2j this doesnt happen.

Zanter's example is valid. Also, you can notice it on the htm's. I mean, when you click on any bypass on l2j  the page 'flashes' and on l2off not. I hope you understand what I want to say :D

Not really, L2Off and L2J send excactly the same packet without any difference, this probably occurs with the server Ping and Latency between Client -> Server

I have asked about the delays on the l2jserver.com forums and they told its because the networking is based on single threads (something like that) and on l2off it is multithreaded.
