Need support about Lineage2 Interlude Server Packs

Question

Posted

Hello guys,

I was looking for a best Interlude Server pack in Internet, found many of them, read descriptions about them ... (post like http://maxcheaters.com/forum/index.php?topic=92146.0&ckattempt=1 ). So all information is really old, I think and it is hard to believe that nothing have changed after 1-2 years. So, best choice for me I think is Acis or L2jFree (there are L2JServer, but my expirience says that there is too much work to do on it). Talking about Acis, I know it really well, tested packs for about 1 year, analized scripts and so on.. It is easy pack, but problem is that, progress of it is really slow, so for many important fixes you need to wait month or more (or just try to fix it by your self, when there is so much problems in other places). About L2jFree, I dont know very much about it, don't even know, how to compile Interlude pack, because it is kind of Acis structure, but there are some actions for compilation on construction of the pack, that I don't really know.

So, if you know which pack is better in your oppinion, please tell me why and if it is possible, give me some information about it. About L2jFree, it could be usefull if somebody will bring some links for begginer I think, how to set L2jFree server, because I searched, but haven't found. Also all information about L2jFree could be really usefull.

I think, someone will find time for begginer like me :)

Acis is one of the perfect project, but it is moving to new revisions really slowly. Frozen pack is using too much RAM and for that I really dont like it. Dont forget to say why or some usefull information.

How many changes are on overhauling the aCis, Frozen does so in a few months.

L2JFrozen made something like 20 commits during the last year.

Concerning aCis, anyone is free to support it sharing. If you find it is slow, than work in order to motivate me and to fix pack issues. I'm a single man, Java amateur, helped by around 10 ppls who are also Java amateurs and got IRL lives.

I agree some things can be faster, notably concerning testing, blabla-ing concerning how to do it, etc. But some things simply can't, and can only be fixed with more people willing to help.

Reporting issues on forums would be already a good start. What's your name on forums ?
