Current Situation in L2 Scene.

So , i have not been paying attention to the Lineage2 Private Server Scene for about a year and i want to ask you guys what's the situation in Private Servers right now.

 

 

So.

 

 

• Are there still DDoS attacks on every server that opens?
  
• Are you dissapointed from the current live servers?
  
• Is there anything you would like to see from a server (What is missing)
  
• Is people still interested?
  

 

 

 

Answer with your thoughts and opinions.I may be interested to start a serious project if the circumstances allow it.

You dont need something special nowdays just "friends" and money to pay for anti-ddos!

Exactly ppl join a server knowing that they will enjoy the gameplay till the ddos come's up!

 

Every newbie is trying his luck creating a server!

Some succed other failed!

That's why there are 500.000 servers and 499.999 players!

 

 

I remember 10years ago that there was 5-10 servers online with over 500ppl on !

How about some Boosted Zones?Or some custom systems to make it more enjoyable.Hmm

The ddos thing they talk about doesnt exist, apply only for useless interlude home servers.

 

As for the rest, lineage 2 is still a game that has a huge player base recently it passed wow and it has more players on official than any of the games introduced as a lineage killer.

 

As far as servers go, i think that it still depends on personal likings so it doesnt matter what lets say i want to see because there will be guys who dont want such things and vice versa.

If you have a good budget and you want to pay for the machine and the protection you will succeed, success im talking about 1500+ on a low rate full retail, but remember, you need to invest to harvest, so dont expect to pay protection and stuff from the donations you will get, Instead if you are a serious guy, you have to get the risk and pay those 300$ in front else you will be another fail

Have you recently visit l2 vote sites? 99% of server are home hosted so thats why i'm talking about ddos.

 

Ps. I dont say that there aren't Good protected servers bla bla YES THERE ARE Βut the majority of server nowdays are home hosted server!

I don't know a shit about other clients except Ιnterlude(You can say i'm a interlude lover)Speaking generally you are right Interlude is dead.

Even thought i don't know anything from other clients i prefer freya(personal opinion). L2 players are interested on Freya client.

 

Τo sum up a high-stability Low Rate server would success if you Advertise it good.

As for the gameplay it would be great ppl to choose features with a kind of poll on Server forum.
