It takes alot of time and testing to balance classes and can differ greatly from server to server/Chronicle to chronicle. Start out small with people testing classes or test them yourself and then make changes to the files that YOU believe are nesecary to change...

Noone can just tell you how to balance classes, you have to find your own balance. (There is no perfect ;D)

I'd say, focus on the pvp classes first (if we're talking about highrate ofc)

If you manage to get those.. somehow "balanced" (which will take a while :) ) then start maybe doing the less-popular classes like pp, summoners etc.

 

But L2 has 36? classes or smthng.. i think its kinda impossible to make 36 diffrent classes, with mostly everybody having diffrent skills and stats and some shared skills, balanced.

 

But i'll never say never :p

Or make a passive skill for each class, and make your own edits.

[1] MP

For each class

Also 0 skills and 0 items on them...

This is way to make  the balance 100%...

yes, its simple but takes time... for a start go and create an skill xml and

add one passive for each class

add them on skilltrees with the proper settings

and ur done...

 

then go to formulas and experiment your gonna find many things there!

How can i do Class Balance in Hi5 l2j pack?

 

A balance takes about a week to make it.

 

1). All skills must be edited on a high rate pvp server.

Debuff/buff-time, hit-time, also their reuse delay (or just nerf Gift of Seraphim, Song of Renewal/Champion, if you have a Npc Buffer).

 

2). Now depends by the case. Some buffs should be nerfed.

 

3). Testing damage between classes (most important), carrying c4 gear or w/e. I don't think there is any explanation needed.

Also taking into consideration basic issues. Elf should have the highest run speed & casting speed, and stuff like that.

 

P.S. - This is in case the server will be high rate.

 

P.S. II - If you wanna make a low rate server, in my opinion, balance means to leave all classes as they are, retail like.

Even though some classes are more powerful in their own way, so are they.
