[RECOMMEND] L2 Server (About Chronicles)

Hello guys,

 

I'll try to explain it with my best english...

 

I was working in my own server in 2008, and I left it cuz I was with really bad PC, so with 40 players it was impossible to play.

 

Right now I have a better PC and money for a dedicated host, and I wanna ask you something..

 

Wich chronicle you recommend me to make a new server? I mean, wich one is the best... wich one preffer to play the L2 players and wich one has better datapacks?

 

Cuz I'm Interlude player, I played for 3-4 months L2World (Freya) but I really doesnt liked it. So I dont know if I can try with interlude again... or maybe Gracia Final?

Interlude. This season, there are only 2 l2j packs. L2jFrozen and L2jaCis.

L2jFrozen is free source and recommended for pvp server.

L2jaCis is close source and recommended for low server.

L2jaCis System: you must work for the aCis's developer in order to take access in svn. For example, make for him some quests etc.

L2jFrozen its a preconfigured pack?

 

I had undestand that the preconfigured packs will give erros to add npcs and those thngs... or someone say me that.

PD: I wanna make a server that you have to farm a little to get custom things.

L2jFrozen is one of the best project. The most of top server use l2jfrozen.

L2Samael, L2iFeel , L2Shax, L2Cleaver and more.

And about adding custom things? No problems at all?

Gracia epilogue or gracia final.

 

And of course you MUST pick l2j svn.

However,you need to work a lot to every source/project/pack you pick before open a server(in order to be stable etc)

To be simple, older is the chronicle, more you got work. Any pack/project/chronicle you will need to work.

 

About a special chronicle, there is no real choice to make. A player choices according to his favorite chronicle, the gameplay, and the reputation of the server itself.

 

Interlude is the oldest used chronicle, and still pretty active.

 

It's a matter of what you want to develop basically. Map, monsters, items, and some parts of gameplays are totally different from one chronicle to another.

 

Someone could use C1 to "concentrate" ppl on a little map and for oldschool system, another guy could use transform system for Kamael++, another could use "cool" zones for events, and so on.

 

Matter of choice and opinion.

 

And if you don't know what to choose, be a player before even thinking to develop.

That's what I mean, i'm C4 and Interlude player, thats because I wanna do it interlude, but the problem is that there are a lot interludes server.

 

But as you said, i dont know nothing about player in L2 after interlude, maybe Freya a little, thats why I wanna make it Interlude, because its where I have more experiencie.

There are only 2 solutions :

- change of chronicle for one which isn't used (C1-C4 will ask you a lot of work to rehabilitate them, Hellbound aswell - others are kinda generic);

- "eat" others servers populations where they currently fail (originality, community, corruption).

 

If you got intention to open ANOTHER server blablabla ++ blabla*, just forget about L2J and developement.

 

* so far, near any server in this board

I'm not like that, if I say that i'll make a server i'll do it, but the first problem is the chronicle.

 

Anyways i'll try again interlude, but i'll look for GF/GE files also.

 

I'll ask soon for a good server host.
