Seriously, don't buy Kassadin. He might be ridiculously strong, but he gets banned EVERY SINGLE GAME. I haven't seen Kassadin not getting banned since 2011 and I'm dead serious.

 

Rammus is one of the most banned champions at the moment. You should expect a nerf soon if you plan on buying him.

 

Irelia is a bit too nerfed, but still a good pick. However, you need to play carefully in lane.

 

Skarner got nerfed recently but he is still a very good jungle pick. Clears the jungle very fast and his ganks are insane.

 

Xerath is a very uncommon pick, but I think he is very strong. I've never lost my lane as Xerath even if I'm pretty bad at AP carries. Not many champions can survive his lvl 6 full combo ;p

For me the best combination is irelia and kassa,but unfortunately as noble said kassa is almost always banned in ranked,however in classic it pwns everything ;)
