killer666 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 With this we can create extractable items with the chance we like it. For other projects are csv folder or data, search for it. For L2JFrozen users, go to: L2JFrozen\gameserver\data find the file "extractable_items". Open it and copy 1 line like this: 7629;6688,1,9;6689,1,9;6690,1,9;6691,1,9;6693,1,9;6694,1,9;6695,1,9;6696,1,9;6697,1,9;7579,1,9;57,330000,10 At the end of the file, create a line starting with this " # " and after it write "My Item" or whatever you like to know that this is your item. Under it copy the code that i gave you or copy another one. It will be like this: # My Item 7629;6688,1,9;6689,1,9;6690,1,9;6691,1,9;6693,1,9;6694,1,9;6695,1,9;6696,1,9;6697,1,9;7579,1,9;57,330000,10 Watch now carefully what you will do: This is the line with the code: 7629;6688,1,9;6689,1,9;6690,1,9;6691,1,9;6693,1,9;6694,1,9;6695,1,9;6696,1,9;6697,1,9;7579,1,9;57,330000,10 Now, the: 7629 is the Id of the extractable item. 6688 is the Production Id of the item. 1 is the Quantity of the item, for us now the item is this 6688. 9 is the Chance of extract this item. You can change them with the items you like. After finishing every item, add an " ; " and then next item like this: 6689,1,9";"6690,1,9 without the .". You can add as many items as you want but Be Careful. If you put 2 items only you will have to make the chance: 50/50 or 80/20 if you put 3 items you will have to make the chance: 30/30/40 or 80/10/10 or whatever you want but the chance cannot be lower or higher than 100 of all items together. Tryskell Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 That's good only for IL chronicle (not even all, as some are reworked), perhaps until Gracia. In Freya++, the csv is mixed with items xmls. Quote
Zoey76 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 In Freya++, the csv is mixed with items xmls. Actually they are in skills XML files, following retail structure. Quote
killer666 Posted January 21, 2012 Author Posted January 21, 2012 although there is a way to do it with java as Elfocrash did & with skills.xml Tryskell i search in your project and you have reworked them.. i guess.. :S Quote
rtcxool Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 Great guide! Explained in detail. According to the formula shared, only one item can be extracted at the time. But what to do if I want 2 or 3 items to be extracted at the same time? Fox example: 50% to get adena and potions 30% to get weapon scroll and armor scroll 20% to get special item, potions and adena Any ideas? Quote

You can edit already existing ExtractableItem handler and add your own code in order to accomplish that, other than that you can create a new handler like RandomItemReward which will initialize some arrays where will store your rewards inside so in summary 1. A variable will store your rewards,an array will be enough 2. Rnd as a chance calculation formula 3.a simple for loop will finish the show Edited December 30, 2021 by Sidereal Day Quote

I am not familiar on what is the handler itself, how to locate it in order to change. And what programs I need to open a something called 'handler'. Would someone be able to explain what is a handler (is it client side, server side or how to locate it/create it). Quote
