    Lineage2 is a good game. New graphics is a pro for it and so other new features since it would a new refresh cause its a 6 years old MMORPG which didnt have much luck. I wont talk about cons since I haven't seen it so i can't judge it.

    Opteron for heavy dutey servers Well for a L2off/L2j server you dont need more then a Core2Duo or QuadCore depends whats cheaper :)

    I guess your just guessing. Cause the game is not imagined by one person but by a group of people. And no they have nothing to do with the dev team/director their role is just to bring to life the ideas of a much bigger group of people.
