It's easy to do that. You just need time and patience cause it requires some client modding.

Hello, I'm trying to setup a server but I'm having some issues with my hosts file...Since i have a dynamic IP i registered on no-ip.org to get a virtual static IP. I've seen some servers using this kind of IP but when i try to connect to my server i cant join. Seems like there are no hosts file, infact it's trying to connect to the official servers. I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance.
