I don't know if I'm on topic but I write this for some people who are new with photoshop/gimp and only get comments like ugly blablabla... When I started doing graphics I was around 8/9 years old I saw it on some other graphics forum and I wanted to make stuff like that and to show all you people who are new with 'graphics' This is where I started: It's the first signature I ever made I know it's horrible blabla I've heard that enough they really took me down but due to some good people who gave me some great tips I manged to become a better designer and in a few months it took me here: and after years of designing I even made logo's for company's and so on and it took me here with signatures: So for everyone who want to be a designer don't let people take you down and keep creating dare to ask for tips and follow tutorials. I hope this is usefull for some of you!

I can't really agree with this I'm in graphic school I learned a lot by myself and actually nothing in school but, there was 1 teacher who learned me things I didn't even knew and gave me tutorials I really learned a lot off. It's more about if you are creative or you're not cause creative minds keep trying weird stuffs and keep shaping what they have in mind. And about the SotW It could work but you need more ppl here who can do graphics and who can tell ppl what they've done wrong in there design. Mainly something like Design of the Month could work then you can draw make a website or just a plain bussiness card and if that works you can start things like sotw after that sotm and so on.

I can only give you 1 tip. Go do some signature tutorials it's a quick way of learning and getting better finding out yourself wont work been there done that.

Something new again. I haven't smudged in 1 and a half year so I tried if I still got it. Only thing that happened is I kinda lost the render.

Thnx! Hmm weird about the logo they are all imported .AI files of 5000x5000. Don't know what went wrong there. Smaller text doesn't fit the website tried it already. I like the idea of trying with opacity this was a quick way of making it fit.

Really Really clean design only try to use a basic font this one is a little unreadable in some places but over all looks very professional

try some easy signature tuts this is just adding plain text and a logo.

Hmm It's clean but for the eye it's kind of boring and the lower text ain't really readable might be me but try to use a different font

Border is shit use a normal one 1px black or something! it looks good but your light source comes from more places and it's overal very dark maybe try something with brighter colors.
