Όμως, ανήμερα τα Χριστούγεννα έφυγε από τη ζωή αφήνοντας ως παρακαταθήκη το βίντεο – ημερολόγιό του. Την τελευταία εβδομάδα της ζωής του ο Ben Breedlove ήταν στην κορυφή των αναζητήσεων στο YouTube, με τους θεατές των βίντεό του να ξεπερνούν τα 6 εκατομμύρια. Αυτή τη στιγμή, περισσότερα από 1.000 βίντεο που κυκλοφορούν στο web αναφέρουν στην περιγραφή το όνομά του, ενώ στην κηδεία του παρευρέθηκαν 1.500 άτομα, τα περισσότερα εκ των οποίων τον γνώρισαν μέσα από τα βίντεό του. Οι γονείς του ανακάλυψαν τα videos, και αρχικά σοκαρίστηκαν που έβλεπαν ξανά τον γιο τους, στη συνέχεια όμως δήλωσαν πως αισθάνονται υπερήφανοι για την ωριμότητά του.

Aftter the installation of new firewalls at MaxCheaters, i would like to know if you are experiencing unavailability of this forum . When does it happen? How ofter? What is your user agent? (mozila, internet explorer/ Mobile etc) . Where are you trying to connect from? (proxy, directly, geographic place?) Your friends are blocked? Please include today statistics and then. Dear Maxtor, Your site maxcheaters.com is under an HTTP-GET attack. The Botnet size is 817 IP's, attack size is ~43 kpps (kilo packets per second), ~122 mbps. The attack is being successfully mitigated. Please, share your experience with us. Your feedback is important for improving our service performance.

MaxCheaters.com for 2 weeks now is under DDos attack, known as Botnet , causing mysql,and apache to lag. I have spent a lot of time trying the best software filters, without 100% success. mod_evasive, mod_security, cloudflare proxies, csf firewall, apf iptables rules,ddos deflate, and nginx with sphinx, memcached , mysql optimizations , innodb tables, doesnt help at all.CPU load still goes to 150-200%. The forum is running on a Quad 6600 CPU , with 4GB Ram , CentOS , and basic hardware firewall.The server currently costs 229$/month , cpanel licence 35$/month, without counting paid developers for managing linux,smf forum monthly. If the attack continues , unfortunately this forum will discontinue. I dont have more time to spent. Maxtor ® Currently only greek IPs are allowed to view this forum.
