TheVortex Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Hello people. I've seen many members rezing old threads because they don't know how to check the date, so i've decided to make this guide to avoid this kind of faults, and now i will show you how not to rez ( reply ) the old threads. It's so simple, how about seeing that screenshot? E.g You can see that line under the thread's title. I think you learnt know how not to rez ancient Threads. >----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------< Greek Geia sas.Eida polla meloi na ksethavoun arxea Topics epidi den kseroune pos na doune tin imerominia, kai apofasisa na ftiakso afton ton odigo gia na apofigoume aftou tou idous lathoi kai tora tha sou dikso pos na min ksethavis palia Topics. shmeq Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 most respond to old topics because they don't pay attention to the date not because they don't know where it is shown...imo the guide is kinda...stupid (no offence). Quote
polakklik Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 For sure no newbie who's rezing the old threads will ever read that topic. They read only exploit thread and try the fastest way to get that 150 or more post count. I think rezing is a bit better than very "spammy" spam by 15 people :P Maybe on forum there should be written some script what will send OLD not used topic to some other category (like "trash", or just simple "OLD TOPICS"). cuppacoffee Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 .... Maybe on forum there should be written some script what will send OLD not used topic to some other category (like "trash", or just simple "OLD TOPICS"). or just make it so that after, say. 4months and no activity in the thread it gets locked... Ofc. that could hinder some good old threads from being supplied with new info but I'm sure a PM to a mod could make him unlock it Quote
TheVortex Posted December 18, 2007 Author Posted December 18, 2007 All forums have a system like that .. Non posted topics will be deleted in the time you set ... but ...! Quote
hub Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 mmm is not clear for me , just see below the topic name x) Quote
