Lineage III is a sequel to Lineage II by NCsoft. The Lineage III project began January 1, 2008 and will be announced to the public in 2011.

I think Lineage 3 is more likely to be Aion, but if they change their mind they might launch the 3rd version also it's made by NcSoft ofc http://uk.aiononline.com/

L3 is Tera ( The Exiled Realm of Arborea). the developers did not like Failsofts atitude and they went to Bluehole studios with their project (L3)
