cedrico Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 yeah it was a mistake for me and a too quick response. srry for confusion with an other class (i assume and amended my last post) btw i dont say that SPS/EE can kill easily OL/ES, but in arena self buff with nearly same items, i win against OL/ES each time, due to high cast speed, debuff, high speed of sleep skills, big heal interesting to discuss ... first i use cancel + spam aura bolt for interrupting more dangerous skills of OL (silence, suspension...) then i spam sleep (chance is low but with high cast speed it lands^^) then recuperation of my CP and HP if necessary + bad buffing (and EE has a lot of bad buff for a mage ^^) and kill unicorn in 3 shots then surrender + vortex + splaash ... = dead Quote
naisher Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 yer its true with self-buff OL/Es might lose agains Sps/ee but when u meet full-buffed Ol/Es somewhere...even u are Sps/Ee u die very fast (Es=the fastest casting that is possible, and if u use drains so fast..no enemy ;D ;D ;D) Quote
canis Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 @cedrico when u fight on arena selfbuffed OL/ES should have staff with mental shield (sleep doesnt land then;) ) ol/es should summon seraphim to get hiss buff, and then unsummon it and get some dmg dealing summon. ol should spam drain all the time, while summon attacks u also, thats only way to win for him ;). If he is lucky he can kill u before u get to range 600(to cast cancel). Quote

canis Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 in arena going to 600 range is very easy well but before u get to range 600 OL/ES should use drain 2-3 times (which means u are out of cp and about 2/3hp left). but in practice they preffer to take with them the seraphim uni which provide the renewal buff in case of cancel or long fight... ol/es never have long fight ... if he wont kill enemy in less than 1min he is out of mana = dead ;p Quote
