Well guys what do you think about L2 nowdays?

 

I believe the game doesn't worth it nowdays.

 

1)Bad graphics

 

2)Unbalanced classes(Dwarfs and Kamaels are useless,Elfs and Dark Elfs are not so strong as Human and Orcs).

 

3)Latest updates are totally useless.(From T1 to Gracia Epilogue,we saw nothing interesting)

 

4)The gameplay remains still boring(Kill monsters to get adenas,kill to get weapons,kill to gain levels,kill...all the time)

 

5)Lag problems

 

Seems that NC Soft just don't care about it anymore.

 

Furthermore the private servers are almost all laggy,with bad GM's and corrupted.Nothing like the big good old servers like L2 Elite,Noobwars,The game and there were also some good high xp servers.All these make the players to avoid L2.

 

A true fan of L2...

 

What is your opinion about L2 nowdays?

Official is worse than you think, imho:

Lot of bots

Takes long time to get to the PvP-interesting levels (where you can join Territory wars and sieges and matter at all :) )

 

But I do think as well L2 dying; not because I think it's bad, I think still it's the most beautiful and original MMO in the field, but because people get bored of it somehow and go play Aion and stuff.

 

So I agree with everything Intrepid said two pages ago (saves me typing work ^^)

 

On the other hand: I think that if the next Chronicles are going to rock, they will be back :)

PS: Epilogue is just a break for NCsoft so they have time to develop on the real new Chronicles.

Actually, i believe that only the bots is the problem in official

 

-No lag

-Balance classes (not like some crappy private servers)

-No restarts , maybe some time's for updates i dont know..

-The game have many new things in gracia so many ppl are not bored.

about one game speak about his official server and dont speak

about some crappy private servers that unfortunately it have.

again the scheme "Interlude FTW" thats what all of you can say xD

 

Interlude was the best client for private servers...then the private l2 is becoming pokemon cause all this weaps like "icarus" and "Vesper" are not made to buy 4000 of them and enchant them...

Give 1 GOOD reason why IL was better than hb+? Here are the reasons why hb+ is better than IL. IL had no balance what so ever, everybody was a hawk eye with 1k+ cp pots or a titan with unlimited frenzy powah. Mages were simply useless. No new armor sets( exept for crappy apella in c5) since c4. Now hb+ gave us fortresses, a freaking new race kamaels( and don't say they suck, cause bers and soul hound are oly gods), attribute system, new skills, some class balance( even though dd/mage class 1-2 shots each other it's still better than just he 1 shoting everyone), new armor sets, hb island, instances, new rbs, territory wars and etc. How is IL better than hb+? U could exploit the sh1t of it and 1 shot every1 with ur he/destro feeling like a god? No offense

is lineage2 dying? i dont think so. i was addicted to this game 4 years. and a 1 year period with non-stop gaming. (morning, gaming, sleeping -- at vacation)

 

i dont want play a game until i dy.

and i know i loved this game. i could enjoy it w/o kill monsters.

 

i think this game isnt dead. just somebody played enough. they are bored by this game

And btw, 1) is totally wrong, graphics are amazing, and beat aion to hell, it beats every mmo out there, its cuz your computer is shiitty and cant handle top graphics, you set it on high everything, rendering C, anti alising 4x, very wide, all reflection, water graphics? I dont think so.....

What is your opinion about L2 nowdays?

1) It's not bad, it's ok graphics. Besides graphics don't make the game, WoW proved that over the years.

2) Actually it's more balanced than previous chronicles, Kamaels are strong in Gracia Final (One of best oly, pve and pvp chars), dwarfs got a small boost, and a lot of D.efl/elf classes are better than Orc and human .

3) Well new skills, fortresses, raid bosses where ok.

4) Like any other MMO

5) Depends on server mostly.

All in all L2 is still alive and will be for some years atleast. The fun depends on friends, clans ,mass pvp. There are still some big l2off low rate private servers with large number of people and those are the only ones with mass pvp and big clans. I will agree high rates are getting more boring everyday.

Well first of all I made this thread because I believe that l2 with this rythm of development is gonna die.I like the game a lot,but what I see is that official and private servers are losing many players.(I don't believe that they got bored,they just play other games which they think are better.)

 

Me too I believe that l2 is the best mmo,but look at Blizzard how many years are in the top with WoW.And then look at L2.

You see Wow almost everywhere magazines,advertishments...etc.I don't see lineage 2 to be so famous.Somehow I feel that NC Soft doesn't publish l2 so much.

 

And please stop attacking me with words,this is just a topic to tell your opinions.
