[Guide]How to set up your own 1.6 non steam server and how to install AMX Mod X

Hello again! Today i will make the most imba guide!

The subject is "How to set up your own 1.6 non steam server and how to install AMX Mod X" and is the most easy way!

 

Let's start,

 

1)Go to, [glow=red,2,300]C:\Program Files\Counter-Strike 1.6\hlds"[/glow]

hlds is this icon

Note* the real name is hlds, but i put and Morian beacuse damn leechers steal guides....

 

2)Open it and a window will pop up!

You must make this options

and w8 until load!

 

3)Yes, your server is now on! When you do step 2 this windows should pop up!

Here you can see main info from yout server, also yout local IP.

 

From here you can make your server. (freezetime, starting money, time limit etc.etc.)

 

From here, you can see server's statistics.

 

From here you can see online players! (No one is online atm)

 

From here, you can see the banned members, also you can add a ban or you can delete one ban.

 

And here the console, the most importan tab. From here you can type commands, likes sv_restartround 1 or changelevel (map) etc.

 

 

4)Very nice until here guys!, but in order to they enter (Ι mean the other players) You must go and open a port.

***** Check the first image, on UDP PORT i put ****, well here you typed 27015, this is the port number.

 

Now go to your rooter site,

example: mine is http://netfaster.com/

Log in and after press "NAT" and after choose "Virtual Server" tab.

 

If you have different router from me, go to Port Forward, find your router, click it, and you will see a guide with your own router, I mean how to open the ports!

 

5)When you pressed this open the port, (See image)

Make it to like, like this

And after press "Add"

 

 

Congratz guys, now your server is on, and the other players can join in it!

But how i can find my IP address?

No problem guys! :P

 

6)Now, you want to tell in one friend to join in for check or play...

Go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and you will see you IP

example mine IP

 

 

7)Now copy your IP, open one text and paste it,

Ok now add in your IP, this : and the open port 27015.

example

91.138.131.237:27015

Copy and give it it on your friend!

Note* When you want to log in in your own server, don't use this IP, use your local IP

Now if you want to install AMX Mod X in you server do it! :P

How I can do it this? --->Just read my guide ^^

 

 

1) Go here and download it http://sourceforge.net/projects/amxmodx/files/AMX%20Mod%20X%20Full/amxmodx-installer-1.8.1.exe/download

 

2)Open it and install it here

 

 

3)Now go to  [glow=red,2,300]C:\Program Files\Counter-Strike 1.6\cstrike\AMX Mod X\Installer"[/glow]

Open the Installer icon, When you press it, an instal window will pop up, press next, check the Licence Agreement and press next again.

Now this option will pop up, choose "Select Mod directory" (See image) and press next.

 

 

4)Now browse through the HLDS server installtion location and select "cstrike"  folder

 

 

5)When installisation finished you must see this

 

6)Now delete these three files from installation directory, ClientRegistry.blob , InstallRecord.blob , HLDSupdatetool_35.mst

After this, delete custom.hpk from cstrike folder.

 

 

Congratz guys! Now you have your own server with AMX ModX!

edit: i select the game to be counter strike and then when the server starts it says "game: condition zero" is there a problem? i mean can people that have cs 1.6 join?

Exactly DreaM, is not so much Imba, but every day and i mean it every day, spammers on msn ask me: "Please Morian open your team viewer and join in my PC to set up one CS server" "How i can intall AMX ModX bla bla bla!

All Blocked now ^^ Anyway tnx.

Maybe your firewall blocks the ports.Try to allow ports from the firewall's properties..
