The developers are working hard to present a higher level game world in Lineage III for the audience. They are learning dancing in order to make moving characters more natural . They invite make-up artists to deliver lectures for them in order to express more accurately the differences between eastern faces and western faces. Recently, they took nearly 10,000 background photos in Korea and some European countries in order to present vivid game environments.As Lineage 3 is under development in the Headquarters of NCSoft in Seoul, Director Kim Chi John takes a moment to share what he envisions for the world of Lineage 3.

 

Lots of races are promised, says Kim, you’ll get the typical races as well as some surprises. Human races, Elf races, Speed Races. These are the characters our users have come to know and love throughout the 86 year old heritage of Lineage. We’re going to put a lot of money into this project, Kim says, as he lights up a cigar with a wad of dollar bills. We’re going to make it accessible to children of 3, their parents and their grandparents. Everybody should play Lineage 3. Unless you’re playing Lineage 2 of course.

 

The last pleasant memory a man should have before he die is his last castle siege, ha-ha, Kim says jokingly. That is how Lineage should be a part of our lives.

 

Kim hopes to bring people together through his game. It doesn’t matter who’s on the other side of the computer, because even though a person’s friends and guildmates are fat, Lineage will help them see beyond their physical appearance. Fat girls will get married too, because they’re pretty elves in the game. Kim stresses that the avatars will be highly detailed, with realistic body physics. It will be just like real life, only with monsters you can kill, Kim promises.

 

If one is worried that this will be a strain on most modern computers, NCSoft will offer computers for rent. People will pay through their noses and be forever in debt to us. This is good because we can always go to the next generation of players to collect our debts. This game will never end, Kim says with passion, this game is eternal!

 

With Kim’s megalomaniacal drive working with the obsessiveness of Asian people, it is no doubt that Lineage 3 will be the best game anyone with the exception of North Koreans has ever played.

Indeed it is , saw some pics from another forum not sure if they were real. BTW it wont be named lineage 3 i heard it will be published by another company. Confirm?

As far as I know, it will be release in 2011.

 

Oh, and btw some developers left project L3 and started working on another project. It was supposed to be L3 but became another game, so you can see, what we should expect from L3. :)
