[GUIDE] Lineage 2 on Windows Vista

Lineage 2 works under Windows Vista ,you just have to change 1 file ,core.dll ,wich u can find it in system folder.

L2 works without any config under windows Vista Ultimate Edition (up-to-date with latest updates) for me...

Many of my friends have this problem,some of them quit l2 just to have Vista :'(.So i came up with this solution.

Now I have windows Vista (Home premium) but, With C5 Client it wortk great, but I had some Big Problems with c6 PTS client.

How to fix it ? I mean, how to Have the Pts C6 client without troubles ?

I have win vista ultimate ... i used java(http://www.maxbastards.gr/forum/index.php?topic=2440.0) and I haven't problem...

this file(core) dont work on c3 client  :'( :'( any solutions????plz help me!!!

I don't think anybody released something for C3 on Vista... This is only for C4... Install XP on another partition if you are C3 addicted :P :P :P

ok because i do not use vista ,i can not make u some print screens, but my friend told me that if u open proprieties menu (right click->propreties)on the l2 exe files u will find a menu where u tell to the windows what drivers to use and select xp sp2 drivers.taht is all i can tell u.pls replay if i am wrong

i think that this core.dll is for c5 ... interlude works fine on vista but dunno for c3 maybe if u search more u will find it in some old posts
