Help L2ClientDat

Hello, I'm trying to use L2ClientDat for 166 Fafurion client

i was able to decrypt .dat files using: structure: 31_ru_fafurion or 32_en_fafurion, decrypt: v413_original, but there is no v413_original encryption. encrypting with v413_encdec results in a crash on server selection. what could i do differently?

Never had a problem

Before you save file make sure it doesnt return error for l2gamename

SysString_Classic-eu.dat i took this file as an example.
What about this l2gamename error? should it be visible in l2clientdat? there is no error

Some files are connected with l2gamename which holds all variables used in game and that editor doesn't load it very well, using mix of l2clientdat and l2fileEdit is the best way to do so

Try again using l2fileedit and see if it's the same so we can see if this is a problem with your editor or the system/file itself

I can't find l2fileedit for 166, could you provide a link?

i think its problem with my system, because editing other systems files succeed, maybe you could provide me a link of clean secrets of empire system?

I'm having the same issue and was wondering if there's a way to encode with v413_original.

 

I had no issues with editing Russian GC .dat files which were decoded and encoded using v413_encdec. It leads me to believe that not being able to decode and encode using the same version is the problem, not l2gamename.

Yes not anymore. Try taking system from l2arena or l2pandora. You can remove hardcoded ip from replacing dsetup
