Problem with HWID

Ms.G

Question

Hey guys,

I'm using L2Mythras pack from the shares, I got a problem where the system thinks everybody from the same PC,

for example, in Olympiad when a player register nobody can register, unless he unregister then another player can register alone too, If I changed "OlympiadPlayerIp" to False so it doesn't check IP, they can register and with events too and for sure it's gonna be with voting, so the server kinda think all players from one PC but their IP's are totally different.

so is there a way to fix this ? like disable the HWID and make it only based on IPs ?

Please if you got an answer help me.

This is happening because the hwid method returns null. After the first register (and storing the null hwid) the server checks the hwid of the 2nd player if exists in the stored hwids and this is gonna return true.

Fix the hwid or disable it. (Search where you are storing the hwid in oly)

how to fix it ? and if I disable it would be an issue ? but I guess disabling it better cuz it affects everything just tried events only one player can register the other count as same pc.

I found a line in config.java "ALLOW_HWID_ENGINE = serverSettings.getProperty("AllowHWIDEngine", true);" should I make it False in config.ini ? I'll try now. thanks for responding.

tried to stop make it False to "AllowHWIDEngine" but still the same problem, where can I disable it?

The fastest way is to delete the method getHwid() from the player class ( it can be in character class too but i doubt) and you will get as errors all the lines that are related to hwid.

I couldn't find it in the player class nether character class, but I searched about getHwid() and I got 60 matches, and there is a whole package names Hwid http://prntscr.com/o2zhiy .

what should I delete ? and btw for online server with disabled hwid would it be a problem ?
