recently i keep getting kicked out of my account and when i try to sign in again i get locked out for another 15 mins, this time its 6

why

it happens every day and someitmes more than once

The same happens to me. You even get mail informing about login fail attempts and for security reasons account is locked. But, I'm starting to doubt that someone constantly try to log our accounts. Could be some wild problem.

Here is your answer: HyperFilter.

I remember not being able to access MXC in some countries due to their ISPs, unless I was using a VPN.

It is a bit off-topic, but it could be there the problem.
