Discussion L2Gold Style Servers ?

Hi there,

 

I am looking for a custom "legendary" L2Gold style server to play some hardcore PvP on. Unfortunately more and more inexperenced randoms open them, that eventually end up closing after a few months so I gave up looking for a very long time.

 

I've been following your forum quite often, found it accidentally on Google and I quite enjoy reading your topics as most of the users here seem like experienced serious people.

 

Now my question is, does anyone have any info on this L2Baldur server that just opened in April? As in who is this guy that owns it and the team behind it and also if they are legit and what is their reputation like in the Lineage 2 private servers community world ? 

 

Any info would be greatly appreciated, otherwise feel free to reefer any other customer L2gold style Interlude/C4 private servers, I am open to ideas as long as there is a reliable and professional team behind the project.

i wanted to recommend you l2baldur but you already mentioned it , for me it is an "ok" to join their server as they have good skills , good off files and pretty serious gm team

Baldur is already dead.Fun fact that they lied about being aCis,and they have said that the server was OFF

L2Avellan states that they will open a new server with 4k people expected Kappa

L2gold.us is corrupted server but its still opened.

 

People have to understand that they have to give up on those L2G servers,since most of them are trance packs.

Official server closed,so let it RIP instead of trying to ressurect it.Dont feed the troll admins with their "balanced" packs.

L2Baldur is just like any other random x9999 server, but using L2Gold patch.

Why doesn't nobody come forward and just put together a solid L2Gold server, I really don't get it.. 

 

I wish i knew how to develop and design one I could get the funds easily to set one up.

Even if they create the best L2G server,people will quit for a lot of reasons.

People just bored of that style and even if they start playing into a new server,they will quit after S grades/epic jwls.Thats what happens to every single server

(Duration from 2 weeks until 1,5 month).

The only reason why original gold and oldschool survived,it was the gears.U could play pvp smoothly with decent gear (dyna+6 hali 16) and most of the people had items in OS (transfered gears from gold to OS with 1-1).

In a few conversations i have had time to time about these servers,i ended up thinking that openning a pack of gold with an old database(wiped accounts lvl 1 full items-all higher than 16 ->become 16) would have more success than any of these.

TL;DR its not about the server files.Its about the style.If u cant go full pvp,with end-items,the server will die.

I had my hopes up when I saw the website as it looked more professional than any others I've seen before. But that all changed when i logged into the forum and saw the problems they are having and on top of that how dead it is, and with those few players that are online also complaining about the server being dead.....

 

I don't understand how a project like this could have gone so bad..

It reminds me of Avellan's failure, awesome start, went down in flames when the owner recruited corrupt Admins and left it on their hands..
