Noxis Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 (edited) UPDATED: We are at capacity in regards to Applicant PMs: Please give us time to sort though them and work through our hiring process. If we need more we will update this post to reflect the changes. So if you PM me, you may not get a response at this time. Thank you to all that have messaged me! First and foremost unlike most people who look for staff, we actually pay a person. The pay is a mixture of how much time your online and what you do with that time (petitions, events etc), its also partially commission, you get %s of specific peoples donations that you interact with. The details will be explained after we talk more. My staff generally makes 400$ to 550$ a month, but the biggest portion of what your payed for is the commission. Most new GMs only make a few hundred a month as they are learning, it simply depends on how good you are. I am an Admin for a server that has been around for many years, we are looking for a couple GMs (probably 1 possibly 2). I would like to keep my server anonymous until talk to you more and fill you can be a fit. We have a good reputation and intend to keep it. We strive to offer great GM Support, we actually care about all our players, we enjoy offering things other servers do not. We want our players to have fun! Here is what we are looking for - We are strict, if you can't follow instructions and our rules you will be terminated - No corruption, we run a legitimate server, we are not looking for bull shit. - under no circumstances are you allowed to play the server and be a GM (please note its impossible for you to give players items/edit them in any way. Even if you tried. Its all blocked) - Someone who is open to being trained - You genuinely enjoy helping people - Self motivated If you are interested please send me a private message with the following - time zone/where you live - What languages do you speak - Age and email address - What experience do you have GMing, web design/graphic design, coding, etc? NO experience is required btw - A requirement is being online at least 10 hours a week, more is better for the most part, if you can be on more, tell us how much. - Anything else you would like to tell us about yourself Edited May 10, 2016 by Noxis Quote

sandpants Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Whats the point of being a GM and not being able to play the server if you can't trade or anything? I mean wouldn't it be advantageous to have a person who sees the game and the server from the players perspective on your staff? Quote
Noxis Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 Whats the point of being a GM and not being able to play the server if you can't trade or anything? I mean wouldn't it be advantageous to have a person who sees the game and the server from the players perspective on your staff? In a way yes, but most people will use it to their advantage, people are by nature selfish. Even if they don't have item rights they will be looking in their enemies inventories, seeing their elements, augments, etc. Or just finding their location in general to harass them. So the cons outweigh the benefits very fast, i would say a 1 to 10 ratio at least, if not more. Besides, we often recruit with in the server, and those players give up their character to become GM, so they do have this sort of advantage you speak of in a lot of cases, but in situations where i am posting here, you are right. As long as the person is open minded, and don't mind being trained. It works out. Besides, these are payed positions so it will be helping their income of course. Quote
SweeTs Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 (edited) From one hand it's a good idea, but from another hand.. Actually, you should have your own char on server, so you can take a look from player perspective and see, what is "missing", what/how to improve the quality of the gameplay. :) But, the person you are looking for, don't need the char on server for his job, if his job is to 'care' about players and give them support. So, it's fine :) Edited May 10, 2016 by SweeTs Quote
