Question

Posted

Hello everybody,

i allready noticed that im not allone with this problem and that there is a allready shared code for l2frozen projects.

Sad is that i use l2j :) Maybe someone has a solution to make EWS,EAS,lifestones etc stackable?

I hope this is my last problem where i stuck. All other crap since i started to work on my project i sucessfully fixed. But this....

Before i forgot i know that i can make items in database stackable. And i know i have to change the client side.

This isnt the problem. Problem is only that the items disappear after using one of this whole items.

Thanks in advance,

sir

I don't know how i can explain to you something, what you can't imagine for yourself.

In few words: you need to edit AbstractEnchantPacket and RequestAugmentItem packet. The names can be other. The point of work it's change destroyItem(full as object) to destroyItem(only one amount).

Hey, i think l2jfrozen uses all his info from sql, so its probably in etcitem.sql file or w/e its called, there should be an option called "Stackable", this was the first part. The second part is that you need to make items stackable from etcitemgrp.dat file in your system.

go to system and open the etcitemgrp find the ID from the item (life stone) and go to the end of the line

last 3 numbers in etcitemgrp are 0 0 0 try making it

from 0 0 0 to 2 0 0

As said Rootware, you have to rework the destroy part. Take a look here. http://www.maxcheaters.com/topic/179589-lifestonebogs-stackable/

For example

-                                       player.destroyItem("Consume", spb, trainer, true);
+                                       if (Config.BOG_STACKABLE)
+                                               player.destroyItem("Consume", spbId, 1, trainer, true);
+                                       else
+                                               player.destroyItem("Consume", spb, trainer, true);

Originaly it was destroying the item, but when you made it stackable, you have to define to destroy only 1.

Thank you very much. Works fine. But one more question:

It doesnt update the inventory. I need to reopen the inventory.

Is there a solution for this?

Use player.destroyItem(... instead of player.getInventory().destroyItem(...

Overidden method on L2PcInstance got inventory update, weight refresh and penalty check. Inventory version is more "abstract", for regular NPCs.

    • For the first time in thousands of posts I've read on this forum, I’ve actually found a message that is enriching on both a personal and professional level. I’ll take your advice to heart: I’m going to start creating more and stop overthinking things that get me nowhere. I totally agree about the toxic community; it's a shame. Time to keep working. Thanks a lot for your input.   Exactly, that’s why the Scryde method and their merge system work so well. People don't lose their progress and can still keep rushing new servers. Obviously, gameplay has mutated into something much faster-paced, but obviously, this happens in real life too, everyone is more accelerated and on edge. Thanks to social media and mental conditioning. But, well, it’s something we have to accept. Don't even get me started on gambling and online casinos; that’s a whole other topic regarding all the P2W servers.   Really, amen bro.
    • Hello, the server lifespan isn't something that only affects Argentina; just look at the South American and European communities. Those distant days you mentioned, when we were younger, which I completely agree with, are long gone. Today, the community plays RUSH for 30 or 60 days and seeks the adrenaline rush of starting over. As for free or paid packs, there are many options, but in all of them, you'll have to create your own unique style.
