Three years ago, when this server started, no one put faith in us. We've been here for 3 years, and due to unavoidable circumstances, we formally closed the server some months ago. Somehow, over time, the reverse situation happened and until the very end people still had faith in us in that we somehow wouldn't close. This server is for those who to this day still hope for something better to come.

 

During our absence we have taken the time necessary to create a new team, rewrite L2Aeron on a new source, innovate on features, and improve our infrastructure, while maintaining it's spirit. We decided to walk the extra mile because we believe you deserve better. We did the best we could do, which is what everyone should do, but so few actually do.

 

There is no doubt you'll be hearing from us if you decide to play here or not, because we are coming for the #1 spot. And this time, we are here to stay.

If you would waste 1 min of your time you could visit the forun and read something called "You can disable the skin system and see everything original.

 

Lel...Sorry for that, didint know that. I dont say they are not looking good, i just dont like them....However i didnt know you can disable them...I guess its ok, might join it after all :P Thanks for letting me know this :)

AutoBuffs Button-> Automatically gives you a buffs preset that depends on your current class/armor/weapon.

Buffs Select buttons -> Enter a new screen with the buffs into that category, click one and it will apply to your char.

Schemes -> Press a scheme button to get buffed with a scheme. Press the X button next to a scheme button to remove it. Enter a name and press the scheme creation button to create a new scheme that contains all the buffs you currently have (only buffs that can be obtained through the buffer service will be saved into the scheme).

Noblesse, Heal, Cancel and Cleanse are pretty self explanatory.

Castles / Siege / TW / info
When we were testing internally, we weren't completely satisfied with how Sieges and Territory War were working, and so we have taken the liberty to do what we believe are improvements to the Siege and Territory War systems. We know it's a delicate topic but we sincerely believe all these changes are good for gameplay.

Before we begin:

Sieges and Territory War are weekly
Territory War will always be at 20:00 CET Saturday, Sieges will be at 16:00 and 20:00 CET Sunday
Clan leaders can choose when their own castle siege will be, if at 16:00 or 20:00

First weekend: we open just a day before, so no TW or Sieges, we want to give players and clans time to setup everything
Second weekend: no TW because no one has any wards, Sieges on 08/11/2015
After that it's all normal, but just in case:
Third weekend: TW on 14/11/2015, Sieges on 15/11/2015

Siege / TW Changes: In order of importance

1) Residence skills have been updated to something worthy

2) TW Wards have no limit set to where they can go, but they can not enter a water zone outside of Siege Zone. If a player enters a water zone not in siege zone, the ward is reset completely (returns to last owning castle, the same as if a player is wearing it and disconnects). This means it will be possible to move around the continent, and cast Ward Transport at other siege zones, including nearby fortresses, but not hide them with alt clans in the middle of the ocean.

3) When casting important stuff, like Seal of Ruler, Ward Transport, etc - the casts are much harder to cancel with target removing effects (Aura Flash, Mirage, Shadow Step, etc). We want to promote mass PvP, not mass PvP with a focus on detargeting the enemy caster.

4) Respawning to Head Quarter (not the flag, but the tent) in Territory War has had a mechanic added so as to make it less prone to infinite PvP. Now when you respawn you get 1 level of Battlefield Death Syndrome debuff, which lasts 3 minutes, has 5 levels, and is uncleanseable. If you respawn while having the debuff, the duration resets and the debuff level increases. The first levels aren't noticeable, but if you constantly respawn you will be badly affected, the more levels the heavier the debuff gets.

5) Instant Haste Potion (+speed) changed reuse from 0s to 60s (not spammable permanent 250 speed anymore). Not sure how it worked in old Aeron, but Medusa Potion is retail now (180s reuse)

6) Fortress and Castle contract functions are working. The main benefit is Castles can get up to x5 HP on walls and doors if they agree with the fortress clan. This might incite some PvPs at key forts before the sieges even begin.

7) When we tested walls at x5 HP it was still very underwhelming, so we've increased base wall and door HP by x3. This means that walls can have up to x15 HP of what you usually see. Walls and doors were a joke before this change, but the HP is still definitely at manageable levels, it was just in a really bad position for a really long time.

8) Siege Crystals (when killed they increase defender respawn time) have been increased in HP (not much), still very fragile but not one-shot anymore. We've done the same for the Head Quarter flags.

9) 2 of the 3 Siege Summons are working correctly now (the 3rd one is really tricky and refuses to work), and doing lots of damage to walls and doors. Remember they must be summoned on Siege zone and it takes a really long time.

10) Raidboss Venom is working - it spawns 1h after the start of the siege in Rune castle, and will attack anyone nearby. It drops one Venom Transformation Scroll at 100% chance, which is kinda useless but still fun :)

11) Olympiad is disabled while Siege/TW is running so clans don't have to worry about feeders

12) Visual identification on Schuttgart and Goddard Holy Artifacts (remember, must capture both) as to what clan is holding what artifact. We also fixed the Ward NPC display problem.
