Vbulletin is gone VIA IPB so that is a big reason. other than that, that leaves XenForo which is pretty good but they had a big slowdown last year that set them back. I have used both Xenforo and IPB and prefer Xenforo over IPB 3.x but I prefer IPB 4.x over Xenforo. Money should not really be your main consideration when picking your board. Research them and pick what you like.

I'm using nulled version for one year and a half already for my clan forum. No problems at all.. :D

Yeah, it's expensive if you see on their site. But, if you wanna do something right you need to pay sorry.

Nulled version is another option but no legal as already mentioned. It's like temporary if you wanna test how it would look like to you. If you are liking it etc.
