How to populate a server?

i play on a hr pvp server, and i am very fidel.

but they are not many players, i dont know why, the server is top grade,

can u help me out?

1 advirtise it here (in private server section)

2 Put your server in hopzone, how?

well u can make friend of kadar  ;P (admin of hopzone) or u follow the rules and register on it

I advise you to add your server at top adertisements sites (top200, xtreme100, hopzone) And just be patient..If your server is good, people will join ;)

just try to make a good server by corecting bugs and try to make some pub in uknown l2 server or forum

try to put the server on hopzone list.....but i know its veryhard to populate a l2 hr server :)

only that wen u walt you car pikcks your way around things, to prevent wallshot

and lag is onli wen you teleport or buff but not big lag, alittle bit,

 

thrust me, i am no  GM , just aplayer and i want to help server, cuz is "perfect"

 

 

today was event and i winned  20Gvse Coins, 6VIP items , and 200kk adena :D

and gm i a reali nice guy, but you have 2 treet him wit respect, gm does not avantaje playest, he treets al players equal, even donators,.

all gm's are nice guys at the beginning...till they start getting a lot of donations..then u tell me they're the same

make server unique like:

no old weapons, only custom weapons from No-Grade to S grade.

no old armors, only custom armors from No-Grade to S grade.

make that accesories give some stats, like +500hp or cp or others stats.

make safe +7, max 30, normal 80%, blessed 87%.

make server no lagg, get a good protection [anti cheating]

get a nice developers.

make donations, but not make donars OP, give them items same reward as normal player can get.

make lots of auto events, like TVT, CFT, and others.

make event hold by GM, like LMS, 1x1-9x9, tournaments, trivia, HnS, and more.

make a nice website.

register your server at hopzone, gamesite, extremetop etc etc.

make a nice lvling zone, where u cant get pked by another player.

make a good farming zone [not too booring].

niice guide  , make l2 off , fix most of buges like dupe etc.    dont add any custom crap and dont balanse classes.

If classes are not balanced, you will have only 2-3 types of chars on server.

And that's not quite enjoyable
