Players must login to facebook/twitter from l2 client and send username + password to your dedicated server in order to make it work?

On main topic says

  • Does not ask for user's password.

so i quess it will only work with public facebooks/twitter accounts that sharing their info with everyone.

 

Who wanna bet on the fact that this works non invasive and safe?

 

 

Open a socket connection and have my 1000mbps multithreaded server send just the html string to the server. everything else is managed by me.

 

Yeah i know, i am surprised with myself too. Btw read "Java Cookbook" from I. Darwin. Helped me a lot becoming better at this.

this cant work practically, its posible to be done yes , but who will give money for something that doesnt own in real? what if your dedi is down? or what if you

drop your dedi? all your customers will lose their money? or you will manage to keep this server alive for the rest of your life? 

there's no way to protect your work when user have on his hands the core etc of your system....

 

also i think that this idea will not attract any player at all ...

This can actually work practically. Once you make the first money a portion gets saved for the server i already use.

Terms of Service will be clear that if anything happens to the server or the service itself you are allowed to ask for the sources.

 

Clouds is the way that pretty much everything works nowadays so yeah it is both possible and practical.

Correct me if i am wrong but 'linking your facebook' with the server means facebook generates you access token with which u basically have access over the player's account to share, like and post and god knows what else permissions.

Also you are collecting all those access tokens and the users must hope u won't use them for something 'unwanted'.

Hell NO i am definitely not giving access to my profile! (In fact i've disable application platform of facebook)
