Discussion Classic L2 Servers In Korea

Old chronicles servers could be interesting, but i dont think that ll benefit game/community at all, god is nice, could be super if they starting to think about upgrading game engine to a newer one.

C1 nowadays is madness. My experience as a solo player (I don't speak korean). Not much better in group, just doable.

 

Kill 4-5 mobs. Get 30% xp of level FOUR. Run out of mana and sit for over 5minutes to regen. No buffs, no herbs, nothing.

Devs said that the rates are lower than x1 - no1 protested. Devs said they don't want players getting anywhere but socializing.

 

Mobs that used to drop 20+ adena, are dropping 8 or less. XP is 0.75 (cyber cafe gives 30% increase).

 

I've read that it took 100 mobs to get one animal skin in school of dark arts.

NC Korea already opened 2nd test server due to the high amount of players who joined Classic server. If it is using same max online config it should be 6.300 players per server.

Yes. The game has _classic .dat files and L2text_Classic.

 

You don't play C1. You play Ertheia with C1 files server-side. (old maps got reverted in the client) e.g.: maps\21_22_Classic.unr and textures/T_21_22_Classic.utx

 

Pretty smart move on their part. Everything else uses the same ertheia files (animations, textures, models and etc).

So the raidbosses would be useful in that kind of server 15% xp per boss instead of 0.00001% in a farm zone.

Registering is easy, just use a korean translator. The problem is that you NEED a korean ID + cell phone.
