Hi,

I was wondering how to protect your system ?
A lot of server l2.ini file doesnt contain any ip.

Or it contains a local host..
Maybe someone could share any information about it.

that wouldnt be very helpful anyway since most people can find it anyway with cmd and netstat

But at least like xdem said for 12-years kido it will be the problem.

The main point of this is to make more problems of getting a true ip address..

As i know dsetup.dll is not comfortable with windows 8 and windows xp.

So maybe there`s others solutions ?

You don't have to open cmd.

Easy guide to find IP :

1) Open Task Manager.

2) Go to "Performance"

3) Go to "Resource Monitor"

4) Go to "Network"

5) Now select "l2.exe"

6) Now check the TCP connections

Voila :)

You can't hide the IP, because the IP is necessary for your PC to communicate with the server, otherwise the communication will simple not work :D

Any solution to protect server from phx, tower? Forget about lameguard.

Any protection can be bypassed. Some are hard, others are easy.

People that have interest bypassing it, will focus and will end up doing it, even if they have to pay someone.

The majority players generally will not be able to.

It would be cool if anyone gave more information on this topic, i know someone more experienced will find the IP Address anyway's but for the newbies ddos attackers it will work great.

So does anyone know how to encrypt the ip address or hide it in some kind of .dll? for interlude or h5.
