dude, I have seen their codes and they pop your eyes out. Dont make me posting here samples cause its irrelevant with this topic.

They tried for something, they failed. They made a l2j pack, imo "trashcan" with a shitload of useless configs and shits dedicated for 12 year old config "developers"

As for me, i can swear on everything I love that I never developed an l2jfrozen the last 2 years im on the l2j scene, maybe I helped some others with some codes

To be honest, i'm not an "l2jfrozen" fan, but the truth is that they're offering custom and not retail services like acis do.

Maybe it was a nice incentive to make their project more popular + getting fast supporters/feedbacks

Anyway it's going off-topic

Stay cool guys (y)

Lol you consider yourself as a big boy? I didn't know unempoyeed e-flamers in real life are big boys in forums. Thanks for pointing out :D

Cry and avoid answering like a man - when you place a strawman argument.

Who needs facts... or logical coherency in their arguments.

Lets just say something and call it an argument - that'll teach anyone!

Yep - that'll sure make your position stronger.

Yep - that'll make you look intelligent.

stop fighting like 2 dumb kids retards, theres no sense on your efight, non of you is right or wrong, you both just make no sense

Point out my logical fallacy then.

His latest post takes 2 words out - and then calls me a "unempoyeed e-flamers in real life".

If he was so sure he's right - he'd point out facts that support him.

Not strawman the fuck out of everything - because he's too unintelligent to reply proper and state his position.

He probably doesn't even know what strawman means because he's...just not that smart.

Aside from your contradictory discussion; As a new developer(not unexperienced) and "player" in the game of lineage 2 servers what files would you recommend? Is fandC/L2JPS worth it?  or even try some russian stuff? (l2 scripts, l2j-dev etc.). As far as i know aCis has only files for interlude and i`m talking about high five.

stay away from fandc and L2JPS they are pure crap, if you can afford l2scripts do it, but l2j server is the best choice

why exactly are fandc and l2jps crap? i know some servers with fandc and they work just fine, and the features are OK. And why would l2jserver be the "best" choice since fandc and l2jps are basically l2jserver files with custom/modified stuff added, aren't they?

L2J server has very good developers, while PS and fandc are amateurs.

L2PS is not clean and lacks stability and retail gameplay, also its full of trash codes in it, while on the other hand fandc are full of backdoors and badcoded 2007 shit and it becomes very hard to clean it or add new mods.

High price doesnt mean high quality when it comes to l2j, they all want your money and by making it expensive you get the false idea that its good, while this is their russian market trick

Well l2-scripts are in my opinion kind of pricy and i would definetly think about all the alternatives before throwing my money on the russian files(~400 eu) which in my opinion aren't much greater either, so i don't really think they're worth so much.

The problem is the lack of features that l2jbasic has, as i don't have time at this point to develop the whole community board for buffing/shop/etc. , aswell as most of the other features that are already implemented in fandc or PS. EoA is running on PS and it had quite many players, i persoanlly played there and can't say the game quality was totally shit, it was decent. With proper developement it can get to good, but that's just my opinion.

If you speak of hi5, stick to L2j, as they continue to dev only on that branch and they make a good job so far (even if that job should be done while developing the systems, back in time - but that's another story).

Regarding the "sync" bug between LS and account, xdem, that bug exists since L2J exists. L2J fixed it 2 weeks ago (maximum). Just to be clear, that issue exists on ANY L2J since it exists, not only aCis. Period. Concerning flaws, exploits, and such, I tried to stick to L2J aswell. If you know some exploits and flaws on aCis, you know where to report and to post fixes.

Regarding L2JFrozen, they inherit from Scoria, and that's where the bugfixes came for at least 60%. For a (too much) big part, the quality of commits equals this type of commit.

What makes you think that a commit must be something that always has to have thousands of lines in it?

Cosmetics and comments are equaly as worthy. No software in this universe works in the way you work with acis on a commit level. Either professionals are not doing their job well or you just don't.

Small commits makes it easier for possible debugging and rolling back.

You are not the one to judge if the commit should be made or not. The software's developer is. In my opinion (and in several of my professors) the approach you take with acis commiting like a beast once a month or whatever, can be way more dangerous than commiting once per day even if it is a line.

Nha, because I test what I commit, and it's why it takes time to commit. I almost never have to rollback what I commited (and it is generally a partial reverse, like 5% of total changeset), no matter how big my revisions are. So... It's only a matter about how you work, how meticulous you are, and about you thinking of all possible ways your code will affect sources.

Cosmetics just fuck up the timeline/changesets. I did a single cosmetic edit, and it affected all files in a row. Then all my changesets now only effect code lines, not adding/removing tabs, adding/removing { }, etc.

I just mean if his goal is to make descriptions clearer, he should just make a single commit for Javadoc, impacting at least 1/4 javadocs (and making 3 others commits adding/editing Javadoc). Anyway they moved to GIT, so now you can't track how much numerous pointless commits they do.

I would be revision 6000 with aCis, and a pretty much richer guy at 1€ the rev.

You'll be surprised how many bugs they files have. I remember back in the day i fixed more than 20-30 bugs in a vanilla acis pack.

Still less bugs than a vanilla L2J pack.

    • 🔥 Launch was a success! Over 500 players joined L2Elixir on opening day, and we are holding a steady 420–450 online! We faced extortion attempts and heavy DDoS attacks, but our protections held strong — even if the cost was far higher than expected. What matters is we fought back and kept the server online for you. ⚔️ 💙 Our priority is simple: Deliver a stable, fair, and growing server that will evolve for years to come. We continue to invest in protections, advertising, and development — and we won’t stop. All we ask from YOU is one thing: 👉 Keep playing. The more active the community is, the faster the server grows. 💠 Important Note: We have no paid clans or CPs, no “boosted” groups, no unfair benefits. Everyone has an equal chance to progress and compete. Thank you to everyone who joined, supported, and believed in this project. Let’s make L2Elixir great again — even in 2025–2026! 🚀   Website: https://l2elixir.org/ Discord: https://discord.gg/5ydPHvhbxs   @Atom Can you please move to Private Servers? Thanks!
