I decided to make a review on this game since it's the new trend.

Smite (stylized as SMITE) is a third person multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Hi-Rez Studios for Microsoft Windows. In Smite, players take on the visage of a mythological God and take part in arena combat, using powers and team tactics against other player-controlled gods and non-player controlled minions.

Smite is based on Mythology. Greek - Hindu - Roman - Egyption - Chinese - Norse - Mayan. Until now 34 Gods/Demi-Gods are announced. Currenty the game is in Open-Beta and it will remain like this until 40 Gods will be announced.

For example:

Gods are all different , each and every one have different abilities that may affect teamfights or 1vs1 in a good or in a bad way for you and your friends.

The game modes are many, so lets see some pictures of them and i'll explain as much as I can the difference between them :

Arena :

Arena, is a very action-oriented, team death match and takes place on a brand new map with a Colosseum setting

Arena is played 5 versus 5 with minions and side-objectives including buff camps and Gryphon Guardians. But rather than a single end objective, in Arena your team earns points for killing enemy players and minions with the first team to deduct 500 points from their opponents being crowned the winner.

Conquest :

Smite Conquest Map

Conquest is solely based on the general gameplay and within conquest there are several other modes, the first of which is novice. Novice mode is for new players to get a feeling for the game and to understand the basics of the game. Once the player hits level six they will no longer be able to join novice mode and will have to matchmake using the normal mode. Normal mode is similar to novice but is for more experienced players. Currently, arranged teams are limited to three players total in normal matchmaking. The match manager will try to give the opposing team better solo players if there are teamed players together on a side

Domination:

In domination there are three control points called Obelisks of Power, these Obelisks are neutral at first and once captured enemies that go near them will be attacked, however, unlike towers, they will respawn and can be captured again by either team. Each team starts of with 400 tickets and you must reduce the enemy team to zero tickets to win the match. Enemy tickets are reduced when your side controls two of the three points, as well as for each enemy kill

Assault:

Assault is a new game mode that is based on the ARAM (All Random All Mid) custom match mode from other MoBA titles. Each player is assigned a random god and they are all taking charge in one lane with the inability to recall back to base, so the only way to buy items from the shop, is to die or buy a portal. The objective is similar to that of Conquest, destroy the enemy team's 2 towers, Phoenix and Minotaur.

Joust:

*This is me actually playing here. :P Add me if u wanna play together.

The Joust mode, which is a 1v1 format game that is similar to the solo practice map. Take on just one friend or join queue so you'll play against a random player that joined queue aswell. A god duel will take part in an amazing map that is based on medieval times.

There are also 4 kinds of practice modes.

1. Basic Tutorial (Solo) Here you will learn all the basic things you need to know about the game.

2. Arena (Solo/Co-op) You can join with your friends in order to practice in the Arena Game Mode.

3. Joust (Solo/Co-op) You can join with your friends in order to practice in the Joust Game Mode.

4. Jungle Practice (Solo/Co-op) You can join with your friends in order to practice killing Buff Camp minions that provide Buffs to their killers.

Smite gives you free Gods in order to start playing. Every week the game also gives players the ability to play more Gods with rotation.. Rotation happens every week.

Every 2 weeks, a new god is being announced and a new patch applies with him/her.

Currently it's in Open Beta so everyone is allowed to participate.
