AION is going 3.0

AION 3.0 is coming to Europe, making it bigger, more epic and more beautiful.  Thanks to a massive content package, all Daevas will experience a world like never before with spectacular graphics. Develop your character up to level 60, explore two new territories and prove your strength in six instances. Move into your very own home and investigate Atreia on imposing -beep-ts.

Aion is already F2P since months (just talking about "And in Some days will be trully Free by Gameforge.", ppl could misunderstand). But you're right saying the new update is coming.

 

I bet 50% of the update (mostly mounts and housing) will be in cash shop anyway.

Yes, I don't said something different. I already playing in 2.7 now. I just write the news. The new patch will be awesome.
