psiox
Foobar2000 or AIMP 2.10 I am using Aimp atm, it's really cool player. Simple, easy to config. Sound quality is pretty cool too. About the foobar, that was even better player, but... I've got it crashed once in a while. And after such a crash all the settings were "boom!" And the playlists and stuff. :] So that's why I exchanged it to aimp.

psiox
VLC as Music player? Wtf? It's uncomfortable, functionless (i hope there is such a word). VLC only for Video files, not the music. And as for winamp, I don't like when music listening "Eats" 30-50 of RAM. And winamp's sounds without DPS sux.

scovron
foobar2000 :) yup imo this is the winrar ;] as for music quality winam wmp and foobar 2000 use same codecs so its the same about light or heavy program... wmp is heaviest winamp is not too heavy but not too light and foobar 2000 is lightest program key shortcuts every program have some :P so i dont see the diference (also special keys on keybord) plus for foobar there is more plugins for it then for winamp :P foobar if you want can even emulate winamp api. Erlier i used winamp but after i give a try for foobar i resign from winamp and stey with F2000 :D
