Go back to CS (the original). After that I haven't liked any of the new ones and they bring nothing new to the table that I ever used. Photoshop CS has so far been the easiest to crack (I never got a reactivate warning with it, where as later versions I would sometimes), and it just works.

lol! -1 This isn't a glitch or a bug. DURHHHHHHHHHHHHH. They give +1000 mdef on retail when they trigger and only last 8-10 seconds. Some servers have them done VERY poorly though and they might give +PDEF, but regardless, it's temporary and only activates when attacked by a skill. And it has a low chance to activate normally.

Why does everyone have a hardon for interlude? Can't say that there's more bugs, because later packages have more interlude content fixed than the interlude packages do. As for overpowered, that typically happens only on high rates or low rates which give players too much access to the end game gear (ie. putting things like S80 in the shop instead of making players craft it). A Gracia Final server with a half decent admin is superior to an Interlude server with a great admin. Mostly because the Gracia Final server will have MORE complete INTERLUDE content than the Interlude server will. ;D Trust me, I used to be a HUGGGGGE C4 fanboy. But once I started fixing things that were broken and my server got to a point where I'm happy with it and now most bugs are pretty minor, it's so much more fun than any C4 server used to be for me. The ONLY good thing about running an interlude server is that you pretty much lock your players onto your server because of the client limitation. They won't normally want to download a new client just to go play on a different server. So yeah...

1. You don't do SAs in the weapon xmls. That's stupid. 2. Yes, they've been done, and been done properly. Lecter actually committed part of my focus SAs for them in one of the last DP updates on the core project. 3. Search, my weapon SA rework has been posted around the net a little. It's more retail-like than what the current core project is using.

(not like they cost that much really, you can get away with a $300 system and have a decent server) 2. If they're not willing to pay for the domain, then it shows they're not serious about their own server. That means it'll be gone in a week or two, a month at the most usually. 3. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO tired of all these 15 year olds thinking they can just load up these fail servers and damage the L2 community. Right now the L2 community is dying sadly. New games are emerging (Aion and others, Terra eventually), and the players are tired of joining servers only to have them close soon after. The gm/admin corruption, the donations, all of it... most players are tired of it. So they leave. And the L2 community as a whole suffers for it. So that's why I'm annoyed. Because they do more harm than good. And as an FYI, I don't give a shit about my post count here. Or anywhere for that matter. It's not like stuff is getting shared here that's not getting shared anywhere else. By the time it's here it's been on a handful of sites/forums already and is easily found. If one of the higher up board admins wants to reset it, they can be my guest. I post because I want to and because I need something to do while I take a break from coding and fixing crap. Plain and simple. Edit: And you'll notice I don't go ripping on servers like L2Confused. I actually PM'ed flower, curious about her set up and whatnot and spoke a little. It's because servers that actually look like they made an effort, and did more than installed a 3-clicks-n-go pack and just changed a few config options, I don't bother.

Not unless you edit the client. Death animations are hardcoded into the NPC itself. Not controlled server side.

Just an FYI, this is more fun to do with a cursed sword. Get a cursed sword, go into the water and drown and die. Voila, you have 100k+ CP and no sword. ;)

While it is cool, even after changing the texture names to their proper names (there was some discrepancies with upper/lower case), it still seems that it's missing some textures. Floor, ceiling, and center area are all missing textures.

A ucoz hosted server is almost guaranteed to fail. In the past, those of us who have been here long enough know that ucoz servers don't last more than a week or two normally. Granted, there are the exceptions. But the majority of ucoz servers are absolute fucking failures. Ucoz says "Hey world! I can't afford to pay $10 for a real domain, so I'll host it at ucoz! FUCK YEAH!" And if you can't afford $10 to purchase a domain for an entire year, then you SURE as hell can't afford to spend money on a REAL server OR a real host. So that means the server is probably being run off your own computer, from home, on a non-business class line. .tk is just as bad, so you're not fooling anyone. Because you did everything wrong. You used a free domain, you hosted the site on a home connection which only leads me to believe that the server itself is hosted on dsl too, and you're greek (not being racist, just saying that greeks seem to open more servers and close them than anyone else). That's why we're all hating on your server. Because you've given us no reason not to. You haven't even provided specs of your server. All you've done is go "it can support 50 pplz!!!! zomg". Really? Based on what? Your years of running servers and being a head developer? Yeah, doubt it.

Packs are STILL bad. Those 3-clicks-and-go things are terrible. They allow any lazy 13 year old to open a server. And all of them expect to have 1000 players in a week and not have to do any work.

Don't bump old topics with dead sites/servers. No it doesn't. It looks like an L2Elite clone. And honestly, if you're going to play a clone of L2Elite, you might as well just play Elite.

Preconfig packs DO hurt the community. It doesn't matter WHY people make the packs, the point is that they DO harm the community. Packs are for retards who can't be bothered to learn the code and do things for themselves. There's a bit of a learning curve involved in setting up a server normally (which I have to say, has gotten MUCH easier since I started, so the new ones have an even easier time than before). The packs allow any retard to do it. I am ALL for automatically deleting posts that link to ucoz, .tk, and whatever other free hosts start to become popular. And not to bash on the greeks, but damn, you guys open more servers per day than any other group of people. Control your 14 year olds and tell them to knock it off!

From your post here... From the site: I don't believe the second specs at all. The first one is more believable. Who's going to pay for all that hardware then not go and pay $10 for a domain? Yeah... right. The first specs are garbage though for an L2J server. Hell, my movie server alone has those specs. lol

Same reason people stay in servers that have corrupt staff and whatnot... their friends play on the server and no one wants to leave and start over. No matter how unbalanced it is.
