[Ranking] Lineage ][ The Most Populars Servers
nomz replied to mweinz's topic in General Discussion [English]
*points to english section title* But you probably can't understand that. Sad. -
I appreciate all the kind words from you guys. As most know (especially from the changelogs ;) ), I work on things daily in order to fix bugs and make everything even more fun. Just recently we've added the latest L2Day event direct from retail. Hellbound is open (minus the lengthy questing needed to get in) and being worked on daily as I gather more and more info on the area to make it actually a fun experience instead of the weak custom stuff you find on other servers.

[Ranking] Lineage ][ The Most Populars Servers

Don't spam your retard server here. This thread is for discussion and QQ'ing. -
But even after the admin admitted there was GM corruption, knowing full well that other players have been modified, given bonuses, etc and it probably won't be undone, why would you still want to play there?
-
lol, just more stuff you can donate for. have fun with that.

[Ranking] Lineage ][ The Most Populars Servers
nomz replied to mweinz's topic in General Discussion [English]
So? If you intend to run a server you should learn to support yourself or develop a network of other like-minded people so you can support each other. You should care. Because players care. Besides, I am of the same opinion that if you use some shitty template, then I expect your server to be just as shitty. So? Why can't you host it through the same host as your main site? Also, really, this kind of attitude coming from an owner? Grow up. He's not crying. I agree with him. He made many valid points. All you've done is proven that you're around the age of 14-17 and have poor typing skills (which makes me wonder about your coding skills). -
[SHARE] Custom GateKeeper gia l2j.

Just because you CAN use colors, doesn't mean you should. K.I.S.S. (keep it simple, stupid) -
Hah, thanks. Hope you enjoy it. I've been getting some events prep'ed so hopefully I can get all of those in this week. :) Have fun! And if you or anyone has suggestions, I'm always listening.

beleth's slave, durh. :) play more retail.

quoted for truth. I knew someone who used to play there and he said that for events, people he knew and he himself would load up to 8 bots/boxes and that everyone had a couple buffers online. So their claims of thousands of players are a bit exaggerated.

[share] Kill GameGuard C3-C5!!!+Emulator!!
nomz replied to NITROUS SYSTEM's topic in Hacks & Cheats [English]
Even though this thread is about to get locked... just so it's here if anyone searches... the only thing you'll ever need to kill GG properly now: http://fyyre.ivory-tower.de/wildcard.rar'>http://fyyre.ivory-tower.de/wildcard.rar Thanks to Fyyre. http://fyyre.ivory-tower.de/ -
O_oa Pretty sure you're just in the wrong thread here.
-
LOL Doubtful.

Really I don't mind people giving out computer advice, what I do mind is people giving out BAD computer advice. When people try to pretend they know what they're doing, that's when I get annoyed.
-
ROFL Wrong. Again. Please, seriously, if you don't know what you're talking about, please don't attempt to give advice. Most scanners check for... File references (ie. keys that point to dead files). This wouldn't cause his problem because these are almost always problems restricted to the program that access that specific key. IF it was a problem within the Lineage keys, the game wouldn't update at all or launch. Not what he's experiencing. He's getting an error that the file can't be written to disk. Dead Add/Remove entries. Not related to this problem. Dead file extensions. Not related to this problem. Menu order checks. Not related to this problem. Old uninstall entries. Not related to this problem. Orphaned keys from uninstalled software. Not related to this problem. Really there's nothing a normal/advanced scanner would fix that would be related to this problem. And until you actually provide some logical reasoning or white papers showing otherwise, you're just full of it. :) kthxbai

lol, bs. The registry has nothing to do with the issue. Registry cleaners typically catch dead file type references, old uninstall keys, MRU entries, etc. But they don't fix things that would cause such a problem as this. Please, before you give advice, know what you're talking about.

Based on what? Like I said, the only L2Inc original staff member I know is the owner, nBd. I don't know if he's corruptable or not. But as a head dev in the L2J community, I have little respect for him due to his inactivity in the project while hiding fixes on his own server (like I said, I don't know if he's more active within the inner circle or not). As for the L2Refused staff who were brought on, yes, there were a number of discussions about corruption while L2Refused was open and it was widely believed that they were outfitted with gear that normal players couldn't obtain and that their close friends received benefits that normal players did not. I don't know how well nBd keeps his staff locked down over there, so who knows what's going on behind closed doors.
-
Retards. Pretty much the majority of you are stupid who respond with nice or i will try. The enchant code specifically checks for an item's location. If it's not in the inventory or the paperdoll (ie. equiped) then it doesn't proceed. But this may work on old super shitty servers. But then, why would you play on an old shitty server with exploits like this?
-
lol, nBd has shown himself to be mostly a leech on the L2 community for the most part (at least publicly, don't know what he's doing behind the scenes if anything). Compared to any other dev he barely contributes as far as the community knows. The only other dev who does LESS than him, is Aikimaniac. If you ever were to use an idea from his server (ie. the auto class change), he gets all butthurt over it (which was funny too because he's barely active yet he had time to show up in that thread QQ'ing). Not to mention that he picked up Memento (nitrozik) and some of his crew when they closed L2Refused and there were rumors based on good evidence that some of the GM staff were corrupt and giving their "legits" and close friends all sorts of crazy bonuses. So I wouldn't be surprised if there was corruption happening there. And a lulzy screenshot from L2Inc right after L2Refused closed: http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/8443/shot00037m.jpg I pride myself on the fact that my staff is 20+ years old, and I personally am 26, but I believe it needs to go a step further and remove unneeded powers from GMs. That being enchanting, item creation/trade, etc. Otherwise, there's always risk of corruption. Oh, and to be quite honest... thousands of players do not make a good server. Look at Azure for another example of this. Shitty staff, corruption, but because the population is so massive, everyone thinks it's a great server. They just don't want to leave and give up all their work and friends.

[Interlude] PC restarts when l2.exe is launched
nomz replied to Lain's topic in Request Support [English]
No one wants to help a douchebag. Play nice. And most likely, it's a memory error. Turn off the autoreboot setting for when the system blue screens and copy down the fucking error code (0x000000) etc. Then google it. Seriously, it's not rocket science to track down a bug like this. -
A friend had the same issue, just keep running "Check Files" and eventually it'll power through it. Though I'd run a scan on your HD with spinrite soon. Might be something wrong with it.

packs are for pussies. learn to compile your own shit, learn to code java, learn to make a website, and stop being lazy.

Dumb guide is dumb. For those who actually understand networking and bittorent, you'll realize that for many people's connections, this will fuck them up. Especially if they intend to do anything else on their network. And your 80% claim is BS given that each file is dependent on it's seeds and popularity. You could get lucky and connect to a good seed or you could get unlucky and be queued for hours till you connect to a good one.

There's rumors floating around that a russian group has actual l2off files from gracia (not mod'ed) that they're sharing out. Anyone got word of who they may be or where those are? Mostly I'd love to just go in and start ripping data.
