In fact it's as nekys said, bandwidth flood is easy to block, the problem comes from spoofed attacks. Imagine 20k ips sending you 30 kb each. Even if the number is not so big in MB, kernel has a limit of IP allowed. Even if you know how to tweak a kernel its hard to get protected from this kind of attacks. DDoS doesn't mean only bandwidth flood. From years to years it became more sophisticated.

Γιατι να μην εχεις shortcuts καλυτερα; Αν θεωρησουμε οτι ειμαστε στην επιφανεια εργασιας και καθε προγραμα θελει 2 κλικ για να τρεξει, τοτε με το δικο σου προγραματακι, θες 2 κλικ για να ανοιξει και 1 για να τρεξει το προγραμα, Αν ομως εχεις το καθε shortcut θες 2 κλικ... Οπως και να εχει το βρισκω ανουσιο σαν αποτελεσμα, αλλα μπραβο που προσπαθεις να φτιαξεις κατι μονος σου, ελπιζω να ηταν και τα υπολοιπα members του φορουμ ετσι, ωστε καποια στιγμη μεσα απο κατι τετοια μικροπραγματα να προχωρουσαμε και σε θεμα l2j, αφου εν τελη ειναι ο μονος τροπος να κρατηθει το community. Επισης πειραματισου και καντο λιγο πιο "advanced" με .ini αρχειο να μπορεις να παιζεις με τα file destinations, δες παραδειγματα απο καπου και καντο δεν ειναι τιποτα δυσκολο.
