You won't find anything cheaper than that, and no L2J server pack has protection against ddos on it's own. If you want protection you are going to have to be prepared to pay monthly for it, there is no "cheap" ddos protection that works.

Such a feature is not possibile with the L2 game client.

Whoever patched this client did it so it was for a local network only, nobody outside the local network would be able to log in. As for the custom items this person probably added them to the server files as well. Simply adding a custom/new item to the client does not mean it will be found on the server without modifying the server files to match the client.

When you decrypt the files in the system folder you need to reencrypt them again using l2encdec in order to operate correctly, unless you get a professional coder to alter the files so you no longer need a special loader. As for security there is no real way to encode the client files so others cannot view them, anybody can use L2FileEdit on it once the client has been patched and see/alter them.

There is no such GM function in L2OFF, that is an L2J feature. Only thing you can do is use the Shutdown function from the server console itself then reload it manually.

Does not matter, the SQL files for the database are not compiled and easily changed. All he needs to do is check the SQL file that is missing the field and either add it manually or look for the SQL in the datapack and rerun it.

The error is telling you what is wrong, you are missing an SQL entry called "in_jail" in your database. Check your packs SQL files to see if it was installed corectly.

Try giving them a reuse time of a few seconds to stop spamming.

I take it this is used with Interlude L2OFF? I ask because that's the only extender I generally use. Looks pretty cool and I am considering it since I like anything that makes my life easier. :D

Then you ae limited to a maximum of 1536 megs ov VM so you must have added a larger value. Check your startgameserver.bat file and make certain the -Xmx is not more than 1536m, if it is you have to change it because 32bit Java will NOT go higher than 1536.

Are you using 32bit or 64bit Java? It makes a difference on VM settings and how much you are allowed.

There probably is no setting to remove the copyright system information that you see, and changing the ShowLicense has nothing to do with that; it only effect the EULA screen you see after you log in. To remove that message you need to have the sources and edit the EnterWorld.java file and change the code so it does not tell it to show. Thing is the developers do not want you to remove it since by doing it you are insulting them and disrespecting their work.

Not knowing if it is java or L2OFF is not a good start to you trying to host an L2 server, but as for that pack it is L2j. If you cannot tell the different between them then I strongly suggest doing a lot more research first. Running a server plus logging in from the same machine is not a good idea, you will get massive lags; even worse is that you want to use a laptop. You playing and letting your friends log in will result in them having tons of lag even though it is on a local network. To be honest I do not think you should try running an L2 server, you lack the knowledge even to tell that is java or L2OFF. There are many guides you can follow on here and by doing a Google search. My honest opinion of your idea: bad.

Thing is a lot of people who use L2j stuff think L2OFF is the same and it is not, they are two completely different systems. Unlike java there are no Admin windows to navigate by, everything is done via command line (chatbox); the only window you get is the GM Panel (Alt-G). Even something as giving yourself items is via command.. //summon [itemID] [number]

There is no such command in L2OFF server, go back to java. :)

Not possibile, you have to buy it because the LameGuard devs have to modify your server files to use it to prevent people from spreading it around. The one that is available does not work because of this, even though some people claim it does they are lying.
