  1. If you do not want to go with aCis then I cannot suggest any other pack as they all pretty much have the same bugs, missing features and problems.
  2. Unless you count private projects like L2DC and Asterios who have several active developers.
  3. L2OFF Interludes files are more complete and stable than L2j in many aspects, they are not that difficult to install if you have a decent guide. :) The free ones are just "okay", meaning they have problems and some game mechanics are not working (like global freight) but I would say they are 80% complete; the quests and epic bosses are working as they should, skills are working well as is the normal retail mob spawning system in addition to most game mechanics. The paid L2OFF Interlude files are much better, about 98% complete but run between 200 and 300 US depending on the seller. If I have some free time I will set a server up using L2OFF IL and let you test it for yourself.
  4. Not really, when it comes to Interlude I stay with L2OFF files as they are still superior to any L2j IL pack.
  5. Okay, that is easy.. aCis would be the best of the bunch in my opinion.
  6. Which Chronicle are you interested in; Interlude, Freya or High Five? All packs have plenty of bugs and missing functions, even L2DC has it's share, so for me it would hard to choose "which has less bugs". :)
  7. It means that FakePcsTable cannot be located in the event "Football"; it gives you the reason "Cannot be resolved" means the system cannot locate it. Check whatever patch diff you used and check to see that this handler is added correctly.
  8. Would need to see your l2server.ini configuration. It should not matter if you want to connect locally using your WAN IP or Local IP, but perhaps your local IP is being blocked. In the AuthD directory check the Black_IPs.txt file and see if there is a wildcard setting to block IP's.
  9. Do you have you WAN IP and Local IP set in the "l2db.dbo.server" in MSSQL correctly?
  10. Wait until GoD goes live on retail since NCsoft is going to make it free to play. :) http://www.lineage2.com/gd/play-your-way.html
  11. With retail Lineage II going free to play with GoD release it is going to hit private servers hard, thanks to Innova taking over the entire system. :)
  12. I would choose aCis as I do not like packs that use customs, I prefer a pack that gets retail stuff fixed and working; aCis does that. :)
  13. You are probably trying to use 23bit java instead of 64bit. Remove the -server from your startgameserver.bat file and try again as this function will only work with 64bit java system. Also, use Java 1.6 or higher or else you will have problems.
  14. Looks like a bsd client/server modifcation. What did you change or add to the system?
  15. Would need to see the IP's in your server configs because it looks like you have it duplicated someplace.

  17. The easiest way to find your client protocol version is this way: 1) Open Notepad and enter the following information; l2.bin -L2ProtocolVersion (or l2.exe depending on the Chronical) 2) Save the file in your Lineage II system directory as protocol.bat (make certain the only extension is .bat and not .bat.txt 3) Open Explorer (file manager), go into your L2 System directory and load the protocol.bat file. If you did it correctly a small window will open up after a few moment with the Protocol version of the client you are using. This works with ALL L2 game clients. 4) Add the protocol version displayed to your server config and you will have no problems logging in. Just make certain your server files and game clent are the same Chronical; meaning do not use an Epilogue server and log in with a High Five game client or you will have some major problems.
  18. That is what I said, and it does not matter if it is L2OFF or L2J since all htm files are stored on the server and not the client.
  19. Interlude on 2008 is a funky thing to get working correctly and will generally be slow or crash since it was not designed to work on such a new kernal, it also does not know what i5's and i7 CPU's are and will act weird. Best suggestion is use Windows Server 2003 x64 with MSSQL 2005 x64 for best results and better memory usage. Ping 9999 means the server port is not open.
  20. Maybe I missed something, but which L2off system are you trying to use under 2008 (from the screenshot it looks to be GF)? C1 through C5 will not function on 2008, Interlude does work but is unstable while Gracia Final works great. What are you system specs? I have Gracia Final running well under Windows Server 2008 x64 as well as MSSQL 2008 Enterprise x64 so you are doing something wrong; either in setup or in your configuration files.
  21. Yes, I was bored and have been playing around with this cracked extender and no matter what you do you can log in but cannot pass the server selection list. Other leaked version works fine, as does AdvExt64's paid release so there is something in this pack that is broken or needs a missing security feature.
  22. You can change the langauge in the client (interface and stuff you see in the chat box) but all the in-game text such as NPC dialouge will be in Russian since all those files are server based. Be careful if you edit/change the client files because server does have a check function (if enabled) to see what font you are using and kick you out if it finds something differet.
  23. If you do not have the Manager Studio then you have the lite version of SQL Server (I hate the Express version) and should look for the full version; or you did not install it correctly. Also during the install you should eventually see an option to input your own password for the master account (sa). Without knowing exactly what you did during the install makes it difficult because MSSQL is not the easiest software to install if you have never used it before. Yeah, too bad L2OFF files cannot run under Linux as they are Windows only. :) C4, Interlude and Hellbound will not work well on Intel i5 or i7 and will be unstable, better to find a Xeon based server with Windows Server 2003 (GF runs fine under 2008 with current Intel processors).
  24. Need more info on which pack you are using, but check the General.properties file in the config directory for a line that looks like this: # Don't load spawntable. # Default: False AltDevNoSpawns = False <- Set this to True Aside from that you would need to write an MySQL script to remove all mobs from the spawnlist.sql table.
