just did that, the same issue :/ i know it must be only a shot in the dark but maybe i should change my external hostnames or w/e the external ip adresses to * or smth instead of 54.**.**.** that used to be my vps's, sometimes buggs ruin other parts of the game EDIT: Taking a really close up look to all of the gameserver.bat info, found some problem with xml/skills/... gonna check that out, will keep it posted EDIT2: says i left an empty string in a file with ~50 custom skills, damn, this will take time :D EDIT3: fixed skills, the problem still occurs EDIT4: downloaded rev 350 from svn, it looks like it was a server side bug, im readding all my customs a few at a time, this will take me some time but ill keep you guys updated :) EDIT5: Added all my custom skills and removed unneded ones, still havent encountered any problems. Will update with custom npcs + items + multisells EDIT6: Added npcs, npcs dont cause this problem, moving on to items EDIT7: Items added, 2 items were duplicated in different xml files, maybe that was the problem, gonna check

still the same problem? anyone has an idea what could be wrong? like i said, i didnt have this problem before i stopped working on this project| are there any client logs that i could look into or something? server console shows completely nothing, only that i logged into the server

well the problem is with client side so i cant revert any changes to my client can i? :D my pack already has like 10 bonus armor sets, ~15 weapon sets, 99 new jewels, some talismans, ~150 custom npcs and much more :D

havent tested a lot, it just crashes. like i said, didnt have problems the last time i connected to my server, that was like 8 months ago :D maybe i should try to reinstall the client and install my customs again :/ EDIT: Cant target npcs in gludin either (random location)

Yo guys, i just patched my client with some stuff from my project, didnt have any problems back then so maybe could be a problem with this interface or these textures from this weird Giran? What happens?: When i log in to the server i can walk until i target any of the npcs except the buffer, aaand i cant walk or do anything after that, tho alt+x and exit game works

Yo guys. I used to work on my project like 8 months ago i stopped, i copied everything from my VPS and copied everything to a removable disk. Now i moved these files to my laptop so i could return to it. So my project that i was working on is aCis l2j server, what i want you to ask is why dont the .bat files work for me? i get LOADS of errors when trying to load them, i tried aCis_gameserver/build/dist/login/RegisterGameServer.bat , startLoginServer.bat, i get that server is terminated abnormally or something, my VPS was on linux so i had to use .sh files, had no problems there, now im trying to run it locally on my laptop and cant start it EDIT: im looking into configs folder, maybe i have to remotely edit my MySQL path / info or something EDIT2: Yup, solved it in less than 5 minutes by myself :D man i'm good. sorry for making this post i guess :D maybe someone will encounter the same problem one day... lock it guys :)

frozen has shitloads of configs, im pretty sure you can find damages there, anyways, if it doesnt help you, you have to compile your project after you changed formulas.java file, there will be some line like mcrit = 4, smth like dat

dont think that anyone adapted it because it sucks, like literally. just make your own quests or do your own events while you are online, if your community is ~50 players you can do it daily

its usually implemented in configs(most server packs atleast), could tell you more if i wouldnt have stopped on my project

and on the l2.ini 127.0.0.1? cause dont think that my "dynamic" ip will work cause i wont change it every 1 hour or so :D

sup guys. Is it possible to run l2j server on my own pc without modifying my router's properties, i mean like i would launch it on LAN or smth,only for me to connect, if yes then: which ip's i should set to 127.0.0.1 or * or localhost? Don't have $ in my bank account to buy a VDS :D

ANSWERED: hey guys, so i did a break in developing my crappy project, re-installed windows and stuff. I downloaded java, jdk, eclipse and thats pretty much what i need atm. What i want from you is a guide or explanation how to setup eclipse to download the newest acis version from svn and how to setup it to compile it after. NOT ANSWERED YET : Another question is what programs will i need to run my server on a hosting?

well if u know a server l2java, it was pretty popular a while ago, with php u could augment your weapons without blacksmith mammon near, even if ur farming or in tvt event, additionally with phx u would get active/passive/chance like 1 in 5 ls instead of like 1 in 50 :D and im pretty sure it isnt an only server like that, just an example
