Same was told when RPG-Club opened Gracia Final when we had Gracia Final too. That server will close and die. Funny thing is that RPG-Club failed and those who left to RPG-Club, came back to RaidFight bringing thousands of player with them. What makes you think that same won't happen again? Better server files? No. Better management? No. So I just wait RaidFight to reach 4k online like last time. BTW, if the ship is sinking then why passengers continue to board? Get your facts straight before becoming a laughing stock with these statements.

Try my suggestion first, to give MySQL a hard drive on it's own.

This problem could be mysql problem. Start by moving mysql data files to your second hard drive. If you don't know how to do this, take backup, uninstall mysql and reinstall it on the second hard drive (during the installation, installer will ask you where and you will have to set it on the second hard drive. Since you say that this happens on the class change (where also skills are given I guess), where a lot of SQL queries run, this is your best bet. I can also guess that this lag also happens on subclass change (where you will have stackskill exploits if so). Try what I suggest, its the simplest and you should have done this already. Then I can help you optimize your mysql config.

On the website, no where is written anything about DDoS. Now, if the customer manages to fight DDoS within our network, in any way or setup, that's another thing and you should ask the customer about it.

Actually, if the datacenter offers Cisco firewall, you can do it yourself (or at least you can try).
