  1. 4Gbps from 1 IP is easy to explain. The attacker is next to you. May not next server but for sure not far enough (maybe next country, I won't waste time to explain why not next continent). And very easy to block without any protection. Just... e-mail the ISP that owns this IP along with log snippets and it will blocked very soon. Bandwidth attacks are easy to block that way since they have very few IPs (like 50 or 100). But what will happen when you get an attack from 20k IPs? Will your (hardware) firewall or load balancer (if you have) or OS kernel support that many IPs?
  2. Read again what I wrote.
  3. I do not have that kind of protection but the most common attacks I get (which actually has no effect on me) are at least 700Mbit. I do not see why it is impossible to have 20Gbps protection. If some people need it, there will be some people offer it. The only drawback to potentional sellers is that they may wait a lot till they get enough customers to get some profit but still pay the bills of their instrafracture. Of course you can get cheaper but if you plan to do your job the cheapest way possible without taking care of the quality, then you will have some hard time failing.
  4. No problem. I wait for your PM or contact me via Skype, add "monokernel".
  5. Uppon request I can setup a dedicated too. Depends on the datacenter, OS and setup. Regarding datacenters, I can resell (and also setup) machines from OVH and Hetzner, although I dislike Hetzner for it's null routing policy. That will include the automated backup system, service monitoring (auto restart in case of crash/ cold reboot), mysql optimization, java garbage collection, firewalling (software or hardware), etc. I prefer Linux since I can do all the above there. On Windows my services are far more limited. I will have to warn you that I am a bit expensive in my services since that makes the difference to support 5000 online instead of 500 online, without lags and crashes (supposing that your server emulation software is not badly written). You better contact me on Skype, add monokernel. There we can discuss any detail and find the right package to fit your budget and your needs. More information about my services as a system administrator can be found here: http://maxcheaters.com/forum/index.php?topic=232422.0/
  6. Population is still very good and increasing. About 1k online daily.
  7. If I want to pay, I would pay a company, not just some random kid playing the admin. No offence but professionals demand professional solutions, plus it is unethical to advertise your lame (illegal) "company" on another review. HostChefs maybe is nice for kids who want to make a website for a month or two till their server fails, but you can find a professional original service for 10 times less money.
  8. My point is that any solution, even the "cheap" ones is able to protect you from that, obviously your service too.
  9. That's one of the most basic attacks and very easy to defend from, even with cheap software solutions, no need for this service. But if you want protection for your HTTP server, there are cheaper providers.
  10. For limited time, we offer VPS with KVM, since it is a service still under testing. 6Gb RAM with 100Mbit connection at 50 euro per month. KVM means you can now also host Windows® or BSD operating systems.
  11. Hello taskot!
  12. Ahh you mean 2nd day. Sorry, that was hard for me! Leveling is very easy on x4 rates with good assistance.
  13. By 2nd you mean?
  14. That's the whole point of Lineage II: teamplay. Unfortunately some people prefer new servers expecting they can make it to max level, on their own (their army of boxes). For all the rest, there is RaidFight.
  15. Thank you very much!
  16. Thank you very much!

  18. It means what it says, the obvious thing. I do not think any datacenter would like a customer who damages the network, like you wouldn't like to rent your house to someone who plays music loud at night. If you get DDoSed we will not kick you out of our network and will do our best to protect you. Still, we are not a DDoS mitigation service and we don't provide any guarantee, plus we don't accept clients we are already under DDoS. We had many clients who at some point, got DDoSed but up to now, none of them was kicked out of our network. Regarding RAID, we do run RAID 1 or RAID 5 on our nodes (depends on the setup), but that doesn't mean that damage isn't possible. Data integrity doesn't only have to do with the hard drive health, also it has to do with the database software your run, power loss, etc. Regarding refund policy, refund is possible (and we already refund many clients when they ordered by mistake, without -for example- reading that we only offer windows or clients who never used their VPS). Crystalia is wrong regarding our refund and network policy, please next time ask. But thanks for all of those questions, I hope my answers was clear enough.
  19. Thank you, I wait for your feedback!
  20. Prices are on the first post (topic).
  21. Depends on the software you are going to use. Usually the 4Gb plan is more than enough.
