Sure it stop most of the attacks, but you still have to deal with a lot of hassle caused by them, which at the end will result in lose of income (Yeah, people open servers wanting to have income), so if you can avoid it, invest in better services, if not, live with what you have and be happy. :P

OVH have a simple problem, their antiddos have a lot of false positive (When it is enabled, you will feel issues like random lag or delay and many people will complain they can't connect), yes it can handle a few attacks but it is not really the 7th world wonder :D, and eventually you will need to disable it to avoid the problems, and when the attacks are back, you have another downtime, will need to enable it again and face the issues again, however it is the 'only' option people without budget will have, there are no others... (So, face the issues :P)

Since last change the game is 200ms worse than before, my latency used to be 60~80ms now it is 260~280ms (really bad), probably he went back using a bad connection :|

Do you even know, how windows work internally ? Do you also even know how network works at all ? That both computers must know their source/destination IPS in order to softwares communicate or it will not work at all ? And due to that, you can always find the real IP with MANY different approachs ? Spoofing 'is not possible' in terms of communication, I'm sorry.

And please, if you are going to do a server, stop trying to make it as cheap as possible, you are failing too much, many people get disappointed and stop playing lineage 2 because of you... What is so hard to understand about that it is not possible to hide your IP no matter what you try ? If you believe there is a possible method for it, then you are really unexperienced.

Any protection can be bypassed. Some are hard, others are easy. People that have interest bypassing it, will focus and will end up doing it, even if they have to pay someone. The majority players generally will not be able to.

You don't have to open cmd. Easy guide to find IP : 1) Open Task Manager. 2) Go to "Performance" 3) Go to "Resource Monitor" 4) Go to "Network" 5) Now select "l2.exe" 6) Now check the TCP connections Voila :) You can't hide the IP, because the IP is necessary for your PC to communicate with the server, otherwise the communication will simple not work :D

You are right, in this hauthd it works differently. All you have to do is add your proxy IPs there using the variable : [adv] proxy= Then you need to make a small php script, to send the notification to hautdh with the packet 0x06 0x00 [ 0xAA 0xAA 0xAA 0xAA ] and your IP in int32 format. So it will allow you to connect to the alternative servers.
