You can change the name of the animation to one where the monster is just standing, or you can make a new animation without moving the legs and add it to the monster, given that you have little experience with animations I think that the first method will be better.

If you want to adapt an NPC from old protocol to new one then as example try to do new data for npcgrp_classic / npcname-e / PawnAnim (use same path for script/mesh/textures like in your old protocol). If no additional changes are needed in the scripts of the NPCs themselves then it should work. If needed then you first need to analyze what needs to be changed and then update it.
