(Guide) What is Aion ? From where i start ? How do i play ?

Hello dear MMORPGers , today at this guide i'll analyze the Aion , a guide for newbies which would like to learn some information about it.

What is Aion ?

 

Aion is a MMORPG actually quite new (1 year in US/EU). It's made by the company NCSoft , a game quite impressive in my opinion for it's category cause you can fly at the areas with Aether and do pvp/gathering/travel etc. Also it has very good graphics

 

 

Any information about it's storyline ? Or it doesn't have any ?

 

Of course it has ! Let's start

 

Where was a planet with name Atreia , at this place humans we living peacefully with their god protecting them Aion , an enormous tower exactly at the center of the planet. But Aion created a new race named Drakan which were super duper powerful , they got created so humans would not make any revolution so in other worlds the balance wouldn't be destroyed , but Drakan used their power against humans and aion itself to gain power. Aion couldn't use his power directly so he blessed some humans by making them Daevas , immortal flying beings.

 

At this age Drakan were transformed into Balaur (more powerful). They were fighting for years and the last battle began outside tower of eternity (Aion) where the tower suddenly crashed into pieces shattering the planet into 2 parts. The humans who were living on the north part were named Asmodians , a place where sun's light didn't reached so in conclusion their body got darken and their eyes have red lighting color so they can see.

 

The humans which were living on the south part were named Elyos , a place which had plenty of light , big trees a life without problems. Of course the story continues but you better see it in game. You will see another story if you choose Elyos and you will see another story if you choose Asmodians (they blame each other)

Okey okey that about clans , sieges and classes any info about them ?

 

At WoW we call the Guild at L2 we call them Clan at Aion we call me Legion. About sieges of course it has , after aion got shattered it left a small ball of lava and rocks named Abyss , at this place asmos/elyos builded 9 Fortress (Siel West/Siel East/Sulfur/Asteria/Miren/Kysis/Krotan/Roah/Divine) and every day there are sieges attack/defend against the 2 races. Also Balaurs are attacking elyos/asmodians to capture the fortresses via Dredgion (Dredgion is a immortal/no-way-to-destroy airship which drops down balaurs elites). Having a fortress makes your legion rich your race more powerful with very good benefits , example you can join the Instance (each fortress has one)

 

About classes there are 8 of them

 

Gladiator

Templar

Ranger

Assassin

Sorcerer

Spiritmaster

Cleric

Chanter

 

 

It seems cool  ! If i want to play that do i have to do ?

 

The point is where you would like to play , on official or private server ? private are free but they don't touch the taste of official not even at 40% , i will give info how to join at official (which it is P2P , pay every month)

 

To join at official we have 2 parts

 

i)Download Client

ii)Create the account

 

 

 

 

i)Client

 

 

1)Go www.google.com

2)Write NC Soft Launcher

3)Go to 1st link (http://us.ncsoft.com/en/launcher/ncsoft-launcher.html)

4)"Download Now"

5)Install it

6)Open it and go at left side there it says "Aion" and install it. It wil take plenty of hour cause it is big game but at least you can see the download speed. This launcher is the one which you will update the game , this one is way better than l2's updater.

7)After many hours the client has been downloaded fully updated and ready to play

 

 

 

ii)Account

2)Click BUY NOW on Aion

3)You must create NC Soft Master Accocunt if you don't have one

4)After you created it , log in

5)You can purchase the account via many ways , example paypal or even paysafecard

6)Set your real information (age/question/address etc) because if you get your account stolen you may restore it with this information !

7)They will give you a serial number that proves that you are the owner of the acc save it somewhere (e.g. text file)

8)This is it ! You created an account which has in it 1month , if you wanna pay again for another month you have to pay 12 euro (via gamecard/paypal/paysafecard etc)
