MMA : Mix Martial Arts IS a martial art, there are gyms where you can learn MMA, although in the tournaments there's a lot of brutal fighting (breaking bones and stuff) ...

 

MMA is NOT a martial art, it's a variety of martial arts MIXED together in order to have a better result in fighting.

And when you say there are gyms that they teach you MMA they are teaching you a variety of martial arts.

There is no such thing as an MMA martial art it is not recognized as a martial art cause it's a MIX!
