There is no point, as this will not have an affect on any server at all.

The ONLY way to mount an effective DDoS attack is using a botnet, not cmd prompt.

Respect and fear are 2 very different things, someone who fears you can never respect you.

The only thing DDoSing does is prove how childish the attacker is, and increase their chance of having the police knock on their door.

Especially for people within the USA and the EU with the major crack-down on botnets and increase in severity of punishments.

 

Botnets however can prove to be a useful thing, but using them for DDoS attacks is stupid and childish.

It is EXACTLY the same thing. The point of a DDoS is to deny the users of a service access to it until the attack has stopped. If you smash the windows of a shop then you prevent the users of that shop from accessing it until they have been replaced.

 

Both actions have the same reason and the same effect. To cause disruption to a service so that the users of that service will then change to your service.

I am far from a good guy, I have a botnet and I have DDoSed people in the past, but I know that it was wrong and I know that it is childish and it is something I haven't done in over 3 years and it is something I will never do again unless in the most extreme of circumstances.
