[help] how many players my server could have?

Language: English (Regional Setting: Lithuanian)

Memory: 4096MB RAM

Can i keep from 50~80 players on server without lag?

Well, as I can see your machine is not good but it is not bad too. You can handle 50-80 players without lag but it depends on your country too.

If you won't use this computer for anything (just for the server) and if people will login only from your country, you can handle a loooot more players.

100mb/s...

make the difference between 100mb/s and 100mbps and then try to open a server..

 

i know the difference...... its written on internet company that in my country its 100mb/s and in others 6mb/s

b = bit

B = byte

m = milli (although in networking, it's the same as 'M')

M = mega

 

ps = per second

/s = per second

 

So, in terms of political correctness, mbps equals mb/s, while MB/s doesn't equal Mbps.

 

 

BACK ON TOPIC:

It highly depends on if you use it as a workstation (think of it as a home/work computer) or as a dedicated machine. Anyway, you can handle 50 players in your country in any case.
